It's obvious Bradley has some weak spots. Not many teams haven't. Can't just go out and beef up the lineup from out of state or country. So that obviously can be a disadvantage for a Soddy or Bradley. Baylor should be considered the favorite in this one. I just don't think it will be as wide a margin as last year. Champ99, can u really judge from the polk game? Those Benton boys play as hard as any team around. Depth really hurt them. They can go toe to toe with any team around for the first half.. Baylor had a relatively easy time with Soddy who's having a couple down years due to SM being built. Bradley had the same when Walker was built. I'm going to say this will be a good exciting game to watch.

If Bradley can stop the run it will b a long night for Polk. Copeland will pick apart the Polk secondary forcing Polks LB's off the line of scrimmage opening up the run. #3 for the bears will be the difference on offense.

Bradley didn't look very good. OL was slow off the ball. Committed or not, you have to go 100% on every play! Whole team looked sluggish. maybe the exception was Copeland. If the Bears play like this during the season, I don't see them finishing any higher than third in the district and possibly not making the playoffs.And the bad part is I'm a Bear fan.

I believe I read 7 starters return on Defense for Bradley that didn't allow a point in last years contest.

Saw an unofficial spring poll that had Bradley at #8 in the state. Not sure if they will be down although they lost a couple skill people.

McmMinn had nothing to do with the loss. Bradley jumped out to a lead on the first play from scrimmage. Bradleys QB was taken to the hospital with a broken arm early in the second quarter. They were stunned for a while and went down by several points having to put a freshman in but he warmed up and they made a valiant effort and ended the game on a 4th down on about their own 20 with a score 28-34.
