I`ll say it again, the Trojans played much better than I expected, DC didn`t rebound, and Bolivar is a very good team that handed it to DC. There !

any time dc struggles it is always about the referees. why can't you just admit that dburg was better than you thought or dc is WAY overrated. Hey dude. Please pay attention to the post b4 replying to it. 1) Dyersburg did have alot more than I thought they would. Good game for them. 2) DC showed the worst display of rebounding I have seen in a long time 3) You NEVER heard me say that DC got a bad call. They called a terrible game on both ends of the court. I simply stated "The DHS mascot could have done a much better job officiating the game". 4) I stand by my original post !! 5) Why do you and a few others try to twist and turn post around just to benefit your dislikeings. As stated in an earlier post, the DHS mascot was the one acting as a blind official, yet you take my post and turn it on the DC fans. Get a life jerk !!

Doubt very serious if Dyersburg can play as well as they did against Brighton and Dyer Co has more talent but Dyer Co won't outhustle Dyersburg..Even if Duersburg gets 18 points down like they did against Hillcrest..didn't quit and got within 2 points.The size of Ced and Cody Taylor isn't going to intimidate the Trojans.Hill Crest had a couple boys bigger than both ...When you watch Dyersburg warm up..think it'll be a blow-out..don't look like they have any talent..But when the game starts..better be ready..They'll dive into the stands head on after a ball..I've seen them about 5 times this year and so far have been impressed each time..They'll play about 10 players and remind me of Bolivar as far as hustling.! You don`t seriously think they remind you of Bolivar, do you? A good shoutout or pat on the back is ok, but let`s not get carried away here.

Since the original poster has one post, this one, I am going to assume the Bisons are the team his son is on, and they are somewhere near his house. I may be wrong, I doubt it. I think that is Station Camp. If so, I saw them play in a Christmas tourney last week and I don`t think it would matter who they played, I didn`t see any combination of 5 players that could hang with most clubs.

Yea Hubbs is the real deal but don`t loose sight of the fact that Hudson and Fred are still only sophs. Everyone did their part tonight. Big Ced sat out early b/c of foul trouble. Koty and Justin did a great job as well. As for the so called analyst, when will you learn that one great player cannot defeat one really good team. Prather is a heck of a player and yes he put up 38 on DC. It appears that DC was smart enough to know what he was capable of and put their defensive focus on the other four positions? As I said, one man cannot outscore a good team.

I sure didn't know Hudson had 14..I remember him hitting a 3 at the very start and maybe a couple free throws..He had a quiet night,at least to me..I thought Hubbs played very well for a freshman... This is to my Lake Co buddies..two in particular ..And 1 that said this was the worst Union City team he'd ever seen..Posted that on here about 2 weeks ago..Remember that Chipper?Last night I was sitting with him and when the score was Dyer Co 16-2..my other buddy chimed in..Union City is terrible..I said ..ok guys..I saw them at Martin and their starting five is pretty good ..hustle..can shoot..Union City just doesn't have a bench..Have to play about 6 players all the way..May get a couple minutes out of one of the others..I kept telling them that Union City has a good team..don't yall say anything when Union City beats Lake Co by 10 points..Then all a sudden Union City stratred playing lights out..All they heard from me the rest of the night..Yea..That's the worst U.C. team yall have ever seen..I guess you know what the talk turned to then..?Dyer Co isn't any good..! I think both Dyer Co and Union City have fine ball clubs..I really thought Dyer Co would win this game by about 15 points before the game started..Dyer Co has a lot of talent but there will be some very good teams in Memphis waiting on them and Northside in the playoffs...I saw Southwind beat Union City about 3 days ago about 72 to 40 or something like that..Union City couldn't shoot over the taller Southwind players..And Melrose and White Station may better than Southwind..probably the best two teams in the state.. Not to take away from UC, but DC had 3 starters in foul trouble in the first quarter. Big Ced only had about 5 min in the 1st half. The refs were not consistant at all. You simply cannot let `em fight over the ball on one end and call a touch foul on the other. Seeing the way DC jumped out to an early lead and then came back from 19 down to win by 10, I`d say that w/o foul trouble, DC could win easily by 20 -25 pts.

I hate that. Seriously. I also hate because now if DC wins, DHS will have an excuse to fall back on.

If I`m not mistaken, the regular DC posters have said they got beat fair and square by the better team. Does that sound like an excuse to you ???

I`m not taking anything away from Prather or his teammates. I`ve already said he looks to be the real deal and say it again. You don`t post that kind of average and have the majors scouting you for no reason. DC ran a gameplan to get him in foul trouble. Several of us talked about on this board b4 the game. When he was out DC took advantage of it. After all that was the plan. In the 4th he came alive with 16pts. and several rebounds, but just keep in mind thats when the tables had turned. DC had starters fouled out and except for CJ every other DC player was in deep foul trouble therefore slowing down the defensive efforts leaving the lanes open, which is where the majority of their 4th quarter pts came from. It affected DC`s game in the 4th just as it did for NS while Prather was on the bench. I personally thought there were some terrible calls made both ways, so that can`t be figured into the results.

I agree. Great game. HC shot lights out from 3-land, and yes, their fans were super good sports and wished DC well in the rest of the tourney. Freethrows once again almost got us beat. Poor, poor, poor ! Big Ced definatly MVP hands down. Then of course talk about a bench player, Gross is the man of the hour. Congrats to DC for sticking it out and to HC on a great season. Enjoy the victory tonight and get back to work tommorrow. ON THE FREETHROWS !
