im sorry i laughed when i heard that ppl thought gc could hang with dc...aint no way that gc can hang with dc...they got to much talent size and gc well just aint the best team out there.

i do have to say that uc did play harder than dc did. I think dc was thinking they was going to walk into that one playing uc and hoping to put the jv in at the half. now u got to consider that the refing wasn the best but refs do not win and lose games. dc is just a good ball team that can put a string of good plays together to win a game. i think that dc was also caught looking ahead to fridays match up against north side with it being the rematch of tournament last year. but if dc plays like they did last night they will get slaughtered not just by memphis teams but any one around here that plays them. They played many different ways last night none of them good but im thinking of one word in particular.....

when was the last time henry county was good? im not seeing gc being good anytime soon.

i think dc will win depends on if prather stays out of foul trouble. I remember last year that that hudson kid drew like 3 charges on him in the first quarter to sit him down early..thats how dc won last year...i say it will go into overtime.

I agree...GC will never make it out or first round or region or even first round of district unless they do some major house cleaning.

I don't think GC looked for the open man last night. Hudson was opened several times during the game but the ball was never thrown to him. In order for them to win, they have to play team ball instead of selfish ball. They need to become more aggressive and don't worry about who makes the shot or who gets the highlights after the game. They need to focus on winning as a TEAM. Grapevine news has it that the HUDSON kid spends a lot of time shooting on his own. I have to commend any player that spends alot of his own time trying to become a better player........ I do think that GC caught OC on an off night. It will be an interesting tournament in District Play.......

No this place is not cursed. Gibson County has a good team with a lot of talent. They always play strong in the first half, but seem to lose their momentum in the second half. If they could keep their game plan going and finish strong, they would have more wins.
