  1. i got csas 3 boyd 1. i agree with legend. csas wants that revenge.
  2. great game. one of the best i've seen at least this year. duncan keegan is amazing. that bike was awesome even though it didn't go in.
  3. now that makes sense. this sounds like a more realistic interpretation of the game. that happens to csas a lot.
  4. honestly i don't really care which team won that's just what i hear and just because he played bad against temple doesn't mean he would have played bad against jc. and another player didn't play (i think he was the sixth man who stepped up at picket last year and won the game as a sophomore) but i don't know why. apparently he hasn't been playing for a while. but anyways i hope you guys make it all the way to the championship... csas has more things to worry about than basketball.
  5. from what i heard, you guys beat a csas team without two of their best players terrel townsend and deleon deere... i'm not very impressed.
  6. first of all, i would like everyone to know that i never claimed csas fanship (i know it's not a word but whatever), i just realized that between the two teams that they're the better. secondly i don't like to think of these as excuses but more like reasons why they didn't win. and don't criticize me for getting on here and saying what could have and/or should have happened. what would coacht be without being able to do that? leave the "no excuses" rule for the players and let the fans do anything they want. i'm assuming that you're a dragoo fan (no idea why you would be if you are) but don't worry, whatever i say won't sway his philosophy at all. he hasn't let constructive criticism affect his coaching ways yet so what should one more?
  7. okay whatever about the well rested part. but dragoo should have known that sexton would catch fire in the second half. players that good don't go a whole game without catching fire at some point unless they completely choke which sexton didn't because he had no reason to. temple is not a better basketball team. they have two extraordinary players (one of which is hurt) and that's about it. they have a couple of players who can make a wide open jump shot or layup. csas has the athletes and the experience and that's why they're able to take advantage of mistakes. i agree with not changing the game until sexton proves that he has caught fire which i would personally have notice somewhere between the next 4 to 25 points (or however many he had) he scored in the second half. that's when a good coach says: "okay, it's time for something different". csas has too much athleticism than to rely on two types of defense ( 2 3 zone and 2 2 1 press). plus a time out and a well set play with 15 secs left in regulation sounds like a good idea for csas rather than leaving it up to the players to make something up. csas has proven that they can get to the finals and they basically have the same team. so all the people saying that they are worse then last year are just plain dumb. anyways good luck to both teams.
  8. never mind people! someone else scored. i'm completely wrong. and the people who said that not well rested (aka temple fans) do you honestly think that the grace game didn't have any factor and even if it didn't i did say that they still should have won. and if i didn't i meant to. and to answer why they couldn't stop sexton is because of coaching. if the coach can't figure out that one guy is scoring every point then you can't really expect a team to win (with the exception of a couple of lay ups and freethrows from other teammates). maybe a box one couldn't stop sexton but it's an adjustment. do you guys really think that a good coach is gonna think that there's no use in changing his game to try and to stop a player who is scoring at will? come on people. get with it. good luck csas and good luck team sexton.
  9. team sexton more like it but whatever.
  10. they're not worse. they just aren't well rested. temple played silverdale and i don't want to hear that bull crap about them being good. csas played grace in an intense game and are still recovering. and by the way, no one from temple should have won an award besides sexton. from now on, temple shall be referred to team sexton.
  11. that's not very likely. college programs can help but they can't give someone athletic ability.
  12. that's not a really good point. the kid's 7 feet tall. he'd have to be incredibly bad to not play somewhere. but if you look around college basketball you will find that all the good big men are aggressive and take it to the hole which is not what he does not do very often (basically only on fast breaks) and he gets WAY too emotional. he didn't really do that bad until he air balled those two shots and then he let it get to his head. he's a senior and his team needed him to step up and he didn't. if he doesn't get control over that then i don't think he'll do much in college.
  13. and i didn't even think about this right away but do you seriously think that patrick is gonna be better than sexton? he'll be good but come on. and i didn't even think about this right away but do you seriously think that patrick is gonna be better than sexton? he'll be good but come on.

  15. i don't know about best in the region but he definitely played better than the last two games against csas. i feel that townsend can be very good for csas next year if he would put more effort into his game. carter choked and that new guy needs to work on playing cleaner defense but has great potential. i was surprised that the officiating didn't interfere with the game. i thought for sure that csas would have twice as many fouls as grace but the refs were reasonably fair. good game from both teams but it seems that this is csas and temple's year again.
