Didn't get to go to this one but heard J Will has vastly improved....I remarked on him at first of last season he would be one to watch and think he was lacking in confidence last yr....playing AAU should have given him the confidence needed....also heard C Gross will be huge contributer this yr as he stepped it UP last yr towards end of season...

To SAINT KNUTE II about refs.......Here are a few reasons why....Refs blew whistle on 2 pt conversion...they were TOLD they were running it, player checked in inside the hash marks before going back out. Inadvertant whistle on kickoff return. A pass interference not called on 4th down.....chain gang would NOT tighten up chains on Dyersburg 4th near end of game after coaches saying something about it...refs did nothing. Look I would say the same thing REGARDLESS who was playing...refs did bad job...I could add more but why bother????

Both teams need a heckuva alot of work...Dc has only 10-15 upperclassmen....D'burg be lost without Taylor.....DC actually played better than I thought they would. Worst refs EVER seen in any game I think...just pitiful.Went as I expected....great game D-burg smile cause it won't be happening again in the next few years....

Freshman pitcher helps win game...loads of players coming back, loads of talent coming up from 8th grade next year. Yep just quaking in their shoes out of fear....gimme a break and get over it.

Colton Harris...the 14 yr old freshman pitcher for Dyer County will be one to watch...pitched the championship game against Knox Catholic. Kid has nerves of steel.

It was exciting and FUN!!!!!!!! I had a blast at what games I was able to attend this year....cannot wait till next year when my nephew is up there!!! NewellHart..you and I will have some FUN!!!! Way to go Choctaws!!!

Wow!!! Just got back in from the "boro.....way to go Choctaws!!!!! All guys played a great game...Newell and Harris REALLY played good!!!! Congrats also to Knox Catholic on a great season and to all other teams who made it to state!!!
