It's all good. I would think that anyone who has seen this group play would not be surprised. I look forward to seeing them move up to the next level. Alot of talent alot of heart and ALOT of fun to watch........

Yes without Locke and McCorkle. Surprised? shouldn't be there is just as talented players on that team as Locke and McCorkle like Reagan, Daniels, Adams just to name a few that is why the freshmen team does as well as they do. BTW it takes more than 2 to play bball anyway... I didn't get to go to the game so have not heard why they weren't playing??

Maybe if you go to Girls basketball message board and click on Warren County girls you would get a understanding as to why the girls have the coach they have and why the boys have the coaches they have I will get you a hint...politics and nepotism. I am hearing there are over 800 signatures on this "letter" going around. Are there changes coming???

score was 66 to 65 I think. They beat an undefeated team without Locke and McCorkle. Heard that Reagan, Ware, Daniels and some more really stepped up and played a heck of a game. Great Win!!!! Hate I missed it I am going to try to watch them in the District Tournaments!

I sure was hoping WC could have pulled out a win. Heard Coach had 4 freshmen playing???? Also can someone tell me if its rumor or not about a letter circulating about boys and girls coaches???

Heard from a phone call I got last night there is a letter circulating about both coaches...how did game go last night??

Ok first of all I totally agree that there were teams past and present that done very well at the middle school and it don't seem to happen at the varisty level. However, I don't agree with you about the 2 players YOU think are ready for varisty maybe one of them but not both. I do think that one of the taller freshmen mentioned eariler could out play the younger guys you are referring to it's been done in practice. About the ones that have quit I think its a shame they play all 4 yrs then their senior year they just can't take the crap anymore like you mentioned in numbers 2, 3, 4, and 8. It is extremly hard to stick it out. Its very frustrating. I for one know that there is talent and kids with heart. I know last year a friend of mine quit who was a senior that played with nothing but heart but got tired of the fellow students always running off at the mouth about losing. and coaches who tell you that you don't deserve to play. I know several of my friends, close friends who have played and quit because of like you say no support from what seems like nobody in warren county. When you have a sports editor who every week will pick the opposing team to win (football) and put it in the paper is unbelievable! You make alot of good points!

Have you seen them play? They play unselfish and with heart. They have Ware, Daniels and maybe one more that are 6'2" or taller. Oh btw WC had height with Weitzel and not taking nothing from him but they still lost. Need talent, heart, and a coach that don't sub every 3 minutes.

I agree Airball is being sarcastic. But don't know why he is being sarcastic all teams in this district have a freshman team which is smart for the upcoming years. Especially the Warren County freshman team alot of talent coming up. Really would like to see us stay in this same district next year not only because we should'nt play down to our competition but to show that we can compete in 7AAA. I think with the Sophmores WC has now and adding the freshman team we could really surprise some people in this district.

No it's not ridiculous at all! Been watching WC play at Coffee County for several years now always AWFUL officiating!! Have a friend whose son played on Coffee County team he would come over to WC side at halftime and tell us we were getting horrible calls... so not ridiculous but true. Only other worse place I have been to as far as officiating goes is Dekalb County. Hope Pioneers brought home the win tonight!!!

Riverdale's freshman boys just lost tonight to Warren County 74-58.......

I know for sure a couple of them were! Never understood how you can laugh at others who are giving alot of effort and all your doing is sitting in the stands dipping your skoal???

It would be nice for those boys to have some support from their fellow peers! However, if they are gonna come and take pictures of the scoreboard like they did the year that Oakland almost scored 100 points, and laugh at their on team I had just rather they stay at home!

Tylan is a good ball player and a good kid but don't get carried away if he is the "star" you are so adamant to proclaim then time will tell. Yes he is a good player if it is the McCorkle kid you are talking about. I think he is 5'11". He and probably 2 more freshman will move up. There are several "best" players on the freshman team.

Ok, for one Tylan is a decent player but it takes 5 last I counted to play. Don't know what other talent walking the halls you are referring to??? Not real sure what you are talking about saying the Coach listens to parents I can say for a fact that is not true. Of all the coaches at WC that DO play politics I don't believe the Smiths are one of those coaches. They, with the team they have this year, don't have alot to work with this year and no matter how much talent you think there is wondering the hallways the Smiths cant make them play and frankly I as a coach would'nt go begging for boys to play. Also not sure what talented blood lines WC keeps losing??? If you want to see some talent check out the freshman team. Don't really think you have your facts right... Not sure who you are referring too...The Middle School had about 5 that starred last year.

Just got word from some parents from Warren County that a freshman player by the name of Hunter Daniel has been diagnosed with a hole in his heart and that is more than likely going to have to have surgery to be corrected. So they were telling me he cannot play at this point and his parents are asking for everyones to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

You are really funny but son you really have no idea! I don't hate any child. Just from my perspective and my experience it most definitely has alot to do with coaching and talent sorry if that hurts your feelings.

I will agree about Northcutt but thats all. The way the coaching staff runs him constantly I hope he stays healthy!!
