FRA won the game 34 to 26. It was one of the best coached games and game plans I have seen. Chris Hart, FRA coach lost not only Emily Canady for the game but 10 minutes before the game Mattie Jackson went down with an ankle injury that kept he out of the game. Hart used one senior, two juniors, a sophomore and three freshman. Hart not only coached a great game but he got a tremendous effort out of all the players including the three freshmen. The tough man to man defense stopped both the potent perimeter game of Station Camp and also completely nuetralized the inside game. Hats off to Hart and his team. After losing to SC by plenty a couple of weeks ago his plan and team redeemed themselves.

Two main reasons for the close game at Goodpasture. Two starting players, Canady and Smith were not playing. Canady was out and may be out for awhile (due to the East Lit player leveling her and the player being ejected with her second technical.) Smith was in Memphis at a soccer tournament. Freshmen played a good portion of the game at Goodpasture for FRA.

Depends on which FRA team shows up in the earlly season. Is it the team that went down 18-6 in the first quarter with DCA or the team that won in overtime by scoring 17 points in four minutes? We will see.

Station Camp has an excellent ball club. They broke the FRA press with ease. But so did FRA on the SC press. They moved the ball well. They will be better than their 21-11 record last year. FRA will continue to improve. Three of the starters and the first sub just came off the state champion soccer team. They haven??™t got all their basketball ???legs??? yet. Just out of curiosity how many students does Station camp have? FRA has 270 total students.

FRA has a play day this weekend in Martin. Just got several players off the state champion soccer team. So they are just adjusting back to basketball. Canady and Jackson will be strong at the post.

To all of you out there...who has the best rising freshmen that will help their AA district 9 team? FRA has 3 or 4 that came off a middle school championship team that may get playing time for the Panthers. Coben and White at guards and Ford and Wharton at posts.
