Was that the daunted defending state champion alcoa tornadoes at oak ridge tonight? Im a bulldog fan from watrburg and the team I saw playing the wildcats tonight was NOT very impressive. If Dustin Lindsey thinks he can tiptoe around and be an SEC tailback he and the rest of the city of alcoa are in for a big shock. He had one nice run and should have been dropped for a 5 yard loss. The wildcat defense made Lindsay and the rest of the tornado offense look very average. As for oak ridge, if they are gonna be any good at all they are gonna have to find themselves some sort of offense and quarterback. What the rest of yall think?

Well, Oak Ridge has wins over Jefferson County and Powell in the past two weeks but those teams are all above Oak Ridge in the poll. Oak Ridge must not be the new guys favorite either. Mark got promoted and its too bad his knowlwdge of the girls game with him. BUT.. its a tournament sport and the poll is there to sell newspapers. I guess there are more buyers in Jeff County than Oak Ridge.

Any of you true high school football fans that are planning on going to the Fulton-AE game Friday night should consider yourselves ignorant. The best high school football game this week is at Oak Ridge, where Kingsport D-B is visitng once again. There will be much more talent in this game, the astmosphere will be much better, and this game wont be a blowout like the Fulton-AE game will be.

Is Coach Chris Lockard still the head man for the Dragons? If so, why? After having the two biggest players in the state on his squad last year and STILL choking in the first round of the state tournament to Bradley, how has Coach E at AC not been hired in his place? What happened to the thread that was on this site all summer telling us how Clinton was going to beat Oak Ridge this season? Clinton was in the district finals a year ago and they will be lucky to make it to the semi finals this year. What happned? They don't seem to be getting any better. Don't tell me, Oak Ridge took all of their players. They aren't coached well. That's why they lose players to other programs. Bring back Frag and they might get better. Next Week Clinton packs up their gear for next season. Player development doesn't happen at Clinton, no tournaments, no reason to play there. Clinton girls come over to Oak Ridge where you might have a chance to get better.

Say what you will about this stupid school policy. Just seems to me like they would have cancelled the varsity games at the same time they cancelled the JV game. Did Chris just forget this rule, which he has used 4 different times now this year? Without the savior of Clinton basketball, aka Vibbert, the dragons are a below average basketball team. Sounds like junior Lockard didn't want to come. Like father like son didn't work in this case because Chris can't coach. What kind of policy is that anyways?? How is Clinton High School not a part of the Clinton City Schools? How can the elementary school and middle school be in class and the high school not?? Is this what you all call your "Education System ?" This is the same system that keeps Catlett in his posistion after 3 out of 4 losing seasons. 4 games affected the horrible winter weather we have experienced this year? Is there a special snow cloud hovering over the Clinton city limits?? Excuse me, I should say, Clinton High School. All I know is that next Thursday, the forecast is one calling for snow. Has Clinton already made plans to call the game off in "anticipation of winter weather?"
