Ok im done with this arguing. Agree to disagree. Congrats to Dyer County for making it this far. Congrats to the CPA team for having an amazing season, too bad it was stolen by a great, quality opponent in a game horribly officiated. God Bless the whole CPA team from manager Zachary Lipson to Coach Drew Maddux and the whole team, don't worry you'll be back next year. P.S. To all CPA students/fans: have a good Spring Break!

Uhh, sorry if you were there you wouldve know that the timekeeper issue was before the 2 point shot to end the game. Usually teams like to pan over the whole gym as the player went from side to side and on the way it is clear to see the timekeeper drinking. And I personally saw the refs smirking, not the camera.

Absolutly agree that there should be an instant replay system.

Wow when the ball left his hand the game had run 32 minutes 3.25 seconds long. Sorry, that shot should not have counted. I saw the video relay three times today and there is no way that his shot was near the line, it was a two. It shouldnt have even come down to that, the game shouldve been over at least 3.25 seconds earlier.

CPA takes it all, and wins state unless they get the same officiating crew from Wed. night's game.

After watching the last 15 seconds live last night and 3x today (Official CPA tape), five things are very clear: When the ball left Rex's hand for the last time, the game shouldve been over by >3.25 seconds (Calculations explained by Maddux), The timekeeper in the black shirt was drinking out of a white cup while the ball was rolled in and indeed he didnt even touch the clock button somebody rushed and reached over him to hit the button, His foot was way in front of the line, the closest ref held up 2 and the furthest ref held up a 3 and without any discussion they somehow decided it was a 3 while running off the court smirking, and with no explination to Coach Drew the refs decided to blindly follow DC coach and put up 7 seconds. Also, did anyone notice the two times this genius clockkeeper added CPA's free through point to DC's point tally TWICE!!! CPA won the game fair and sqaure. And as to the rant that the Refs were for CPA tonight, wow that really was hilarious. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH DC got away with soooooooo many fouls not called tonight. Definetly the dirtiest teams i have ever seen play. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH All of Tennessee deserves an apology for the horednous officiating tonight. Throwing the game, haha wow. I have never in my life seen or heard of any refs ever calling a fair game when a private school was involved. But thats a different subject for a different forum. Absolutely true and correct. Love your post. Absoultly correct. DC was given the game by the refs all night long! And the timekeeper must have been a DC alum. The refs must have forgotten and wore their haloween costumes tonight because theres no way that was anywhere close to a fair officiated game. Congrats to CPA for a great season. To the CPA Basketball team: Im sorry that your season got cut short due to biased, unbeliveable officiating, and had to loose to such a classless team. Can't wait for next year to see CPA dominate AA. I really wish CPA would move up to Div II, so public/private wouldnt be an issue.

HAHAHAH DC deserved the win??? why? why dosent CPA deserve it? Is it because we are private school?? Really, cause if not then i dont see how DC deserves this win. The refs gave them the win, CPA deserved this win. Hahah i love how all of the predictions about how DC's speed will destroy CPA were so wrong. CPA deserved the win, and if we had had fair refs (if they actually exist), CPA woulvde won.

Heck, if i was the cpa coach, i would have ran out to the ref and kicked his butt But that jsut shows how classy Maddux is to not do that. Everyone knows that the reffing was absoutly atrocious and disgusting,

THE OFFICIATING TONIGHT WAS ABSOLTULY NACCEPTABLE!!!! THEY ADDED TIME ONTO A PLAY WHERE THE CLOCK STARTED 5 SCONDS LATE!!!! CPA WON TONIGHT AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT EVEN DC!!!!!!!!! TSSAA IS soooooo biased agasinst private schools!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU SHOULDVE SEEN THE REFS SMILING AS THEY WALKED OFF THE COURT TONIGHT!!!! CONGRATS ON A GREAT SEASON CPA!
