Usually with jobs like these, we hear names (often the greatest hits) - RC, MP, TH, BS, -- just haven't heard many this time - maybe metro is going to stop recycling after all - Time will tell. Just to make the board more entertaining, it would be nice to know of a list of candidates so that we could at least prognosticate.

Most principals/administrators do nothing to stand in the way of a coach/teacher improving their situation... i would be suspicious of anyone that doesn't pursue jobs out in the open (with their boss at least)

This job is probably not quite as good as st Louis - with the improvement of sc - they are looking at 4 or 5 really tough games.

Stratford interviews next week also - when will cane ridge start? I'm sure Hillsboro will not be until after their deadline of the 18th.

I see your point. I meant that completely as a surely they will like one. I don't know any of the applicants for sure but I have heard the name Holiday as someone that was interested.

I think this is a little overrated - there are plenty of schools that have multiple schools feeding them. You get kids as freshmen - its not like you are relying on them to contribute immediately anyway - probably the same level of coaching between pop Warner and middle anyway.

Coach - was Holliday at Hillsboro when you were there? Heard he was interested in metro.

Wow - name calling - awesome. Metro, Williamson, and Rutherford all pay more - don't know about Montgomery or Wilson. Plus the teaching load isn't necessarily better when coaches in sumner are required to do football during their planning period. Good thing I'm not an interested candidate because apparently I'm a spoiled baby living under a rock - because I do think the pay in sumner is bad and getting worse.

What is the difference in pay here and other summer county schools - if it's the same, not good.

Not sure relationship with the kids is that important. I've seen some pretty bad coaches have great relationships with the kids on the team.

This is a sad but true statement. I would like to know confirmed applications for these jobs - that way we can know who the recycled coaches beat out.
