  1. That Eddie Haskell really shines through in all your comments. Now that everybody knows, its so easy to see /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  2. DL shouldn't allow goats in the school. Thats just not sanitary /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  3. There will be a small retainer required, but I expect we will both be paying more attention to the active Giles Co. thread. A few years back when these two met for the second time Giles Co. was 25 points better in the second game vs the first. I've seen a few of you make those big DL blowout predictions for this game, but is seems as most of you have become much more reserved /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  4. There's that haskell humor I've grown to love. All kidding aside, for years I've attended DL games and the concession stand is always first class but earlier this year they were totally void of jalapeno's. If you really have any pull at all at DL, see what you can do to help a brother in need out on this one.
  5. Psychosis and dementia have most assurdley set in with you! I see you are replying to your own posts.
  6. Its nice to see we can agree on a few things......but not everything. IMO GC's biggest advantage is their offensive line. It was a thing of beauty the last time these two played. I am also very interested to see what GC does to coral Rogers running the ball(maybe quarter horses and stockade panels) Special teams, GC has the ability to make some really big plays here, but last game it was a dead heat. As for support and fans, GC will be bringing the house. Now, I'm well aware your no fan of mine, but when that clock hits zero I can't help but believe a competitor like yourself would really like to see GC pull this one out. Not because of the players coaches or the town but for all small town schools that just have to do it a bit different than the big city privates. I bet you remember when the team that used to win our district always headed to BA in the first round of the playoffs. Now we head to DL which I might point out is ranked way above BA in the Tennesseans rankings. I expect there to be a huge crowd there tonight, large crowds for both teams and several hundred fans that will come to see a great game. They will mostly pick DL to win, but what they would really like to see, is the mustangs hit the dust tonight.
  7. I'm all for the band. But they need to get really loud when were on defense and be a bit more attentive when were on offense. They can have an effect on both teams. I just hope they don't all go the the bathroom at DL at half time instead of marching.
  8. Hey ahapplet, its gonna be hard for us to win on this board count thing, see they have been in training since the 5th grade. And V1, I'm guessing, was in the 5th grade back in the late 40's......who knew they were so forward thinking. But to our advantage last night on vh1 Nirvana beat out some top irish groups for song of the 90's with "Smells like teen spirit" So there you go....Its gonna be close, but thats a clear indicator to a GC win.
  9. The admin at the feeder schools in Giles aren't big football fans, there good people its just not their thing. I know that a few years back Cox would drop the hammer every time they played Bridgeforth but the last few years its been a bit more of a level playing field for the two.
  10. The middle school in town tries to, both feeder schools have volunteer coaches and its not likely they will be nearly as intergrated or efficient in running OC's offense as the system DL is able to. And under OC the fresh have began running the high school offense. They couldn't have hardly run it before he came to the school. But running it now should pay nice dividends in the years to come. IMO the freshman class is very talented.
  11. I'm not the topic and neither are you. Folks might take notice Bomb, Eddie and V1 are never on at the same time. I'm positive both teams are focused on the game...lets try to do the same.
  12. Its great they can have a system like that, great for the players. The Middle school system here the players come from several smaller schools and the coaches are all volunteers with usually a school rep that works with them at some level. We are quite often at the mercy of the principal of each feeder school as to who can do what. In SH do all of the students come through the same school system or are there several feeder schools? I know bridgeforth played EA Cox at your field this year.
  13. BS69...let it go. With the final score what it was, seven points wouldn't have mattered. You get on here and cry and holler about our coaches when the third stringers continue to score a few years back and you cry when its a great game and close to the end. What you need to do is get a play station, create an awesome page team and a bad GC team and go at it. Untill then the game will be played on the field. Unlike you I think Page has some really fine players, regardless of their size they showed great heart in both games this year.
  14. GC runs the same system through the high school years as well, I would assume Page does as well. I agree its a process that comes with getting and keeping a good coach. DL has been very lucky to keep such a quality coach for such an extended time.
