I'm not saying Liberty Tech not good because they are good!!! I'm saying Manassas should be in the Top 10 in 2A by the AP voters!!!

1st of all I never said Manassas was better then Liberty, Bolivar, or Fulton. I said Manassas was not ranked in the top 15 in 2A is a disgrace!!! Over the last 3 years Manassas has played top teams and beat top teams. City University a 1A Memphis school would give Milan and any other school like that the blues!!! Memphis ball is the best in Tennessee most of these other towns play in our JV league! 15-4 playing in Memphis is like being undefeate in some other parts of Tennessee. East would be the clear cut favorite if they was playing in 2A ball this year. In 2A Memphis yall better look out for Manassas, Trezevant, Oakhaven, and Sheffield. Right now Fulton is the o ly sure thing. Bolivor makes it every year because of the comp they have to ay to get to the boro!!! If they was in Memphis or had to go thru Memphis things would be a little different! Hillcrest is not Manassas, Oakhaven, trezevant, or Sheffield!!! Keep disrespecting us and u will find out the hard way. My entire claim was that Manassas should be ranked by the AP voters in 2A. Maybe not over bolivar, Fulton, and Liberty but they deserve to be in that top 10!!!!

Liberty Tech -vs- Manassas match up will not happen! Nobody seems to think Manassas is good. They not even ranked in the top 15 in 2A with a 15-4 record. Nobody is giving them any respect right now! Manassas just got to keep doing what they do win games! I already no what this is about with the AP Voters!!!! This is about they don't like Manassas because the players were false accused of doing something vs humboldt in the stands that was not true! AP guys reported that lie and didn't vote Buckner state MVP lik he should have been!!! It's all bull!!! Vote for the best on the court! Not because You mad at the kid! Manassas is 15-4 not getting any respect from the AP voters!!! Manassas wouldn't have had a chance vs Humboldt without Buckner but he is not state MVP? Lol!!!

Manassas knocks off district favorite Trezevant lastnight!!! People said it wouldn't be the same with Manassas in 2A but nothing has change! No Reggie Buckner and no State MVP Marcus Holloway but Manassas still keeps rolling!!!

Liberty Tech is not the same team without coach williams. they good but not the same.

U right on any given night a team could lose to a underdog. I just don't see that happening vs Ridgeway, Central, Southwind, or Melrose!!!

Show were I said liberty had a weak schedule? Liberty Tech is a top 3 team in 2A right now. I will say now that I look at tech schedule it is not as strong non-league games as the ones Dexter Williams would play. Tech is a good team and I could see them winning the state. Manassas will have a say so as to who will win it befor it's over!!! Liberty Tech is not the same team without coach williams. they good but not the same.

The defending 1A champs moving to 2A just makes that class alot tougher! Just like i said and u the schedules Memphis teams play make them better as the year goes on! Teams in Bold should be in the top 10 but everybody else should not be Ranked over Manassas

Lausanne is a very bad small privet memphis school. Dyer Co. should have won this game by 20+ I see what you are saying but what will happen to them when they face a power out of Memphis! I have no dog in this but the teams are just to darn good! Especially in the larger classes!2 A is pretty tough as well with Manasass move up! I can't think of a 3A school around here that can compete on that level on a yearly basic. There are not many in 2 A either maybe Bolivar off the top of my head! Bolivar is one of the teams that beat DC to! I mean no harm facts are just facts! Bolivar played Ridway this year and lost by 40!!! DC don't have a chance in Memphis

If DC lost to Lausanne then Raleigh Egypt, Craigmont, Cordova, and Bartlett will kill them in the regional

Manassas just beat Middle College by 54pts!!! I told you this team is 4real and will earn everybodies respect by state tourney time!!!

Manassas is going under the radar this season but the record is 14-4. Manassas has a much better schedule then most of the teams ranked in the state in 2A. Manassas has 4 loses with that schedule! And teams ranked in the state in 2A have 3-4 loses and they play all weak teams. Manassas has yet to lose to a 2A school and could play for the 2A City title. Manassas could have scheduled all weak teams and been undefeated right now. Would that make them better then they are now? NO! Keep over looking them and later on you will have no choice but to respect them!!!

Well last year before he droped out of the draft they had him going in the top 20, soooooo he would at least been in the NBA for a little bit no way Tyler Smith was a 1st round pick in any year. They also said CDR was a 1st round lock. Derrick Byers was a 1st round lock. W Chisim is a early 2nd round pick because he can rebound and shoot. Tyler Smith may not get drafted

The culture demands nothing. You make your own decisions in life. You can be civilized without "acting white" or being a thug. Tyler Smith was definately on his way into the pros. He has now shot down his chance unfortunately due to his choices he's made. I hate it for him because he was a great talent. I hope something good comes out of this situation for all 4 of 'em. It was not a sure lock that Tyler Smith was a pro before this stuff. Now he need to be out of college basketball also

First of all players from the Memphis area have won more than a few Mr. Basketball awards. Second, you act as though the kid that won in AAA last year was nothing special. He averaged over 30 points and 15 rebounds per game. That is exceptional whether you are from Memphis, Knoxville, or somewhere in the middle. Joe Jackson was last year and still is this year the BEST PLAYER IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE!!!! The kid that won last year wasn't in the same LEAGUE as Joe Jackson just being 100% honest!!!!! The kid that won last year is not even a high-major college player!!! How do you not vote for Joe Jackson!!! Just like two years ago when MJ Brown won over Reggie Buckner!!! MJ is a good player but Buckner is on another level!!! Buckner starts for Ole Miss and has won a sec freshman of the week award! AP Voters keep doing a great Job!!!

Records aren't everything. You also need to take into consideration of the Strength of Teams they play against and the margin of victory doesn't count either cause Dyer Co. (AAA) played Union City and Humboldt both and Union City had Dyer Co. down 18 points at one time in the game and Dyer Co. came back and beat them by 10 while Humboldt lost by 30. It isn't about the records. It is about how they play the game! I like Middleton or City University in A. smart guy I like Middleton or City University in 1A also!!!

I think that Either Lake County, Union City, Humboldt, or Middleton will win it all. West Tn has to be the favorite for the gold ball. So nobody thinks City University or Westwood from Memphis has a chance? you will be shocked when a 14A team has to face 1 of these teams come sub-state,,,

In 2A west tnnessee should have 6 teams in the polls. In no order Manassas, Liberty Tech, Jackson Central Merry, Sheffield, Boliver, and Oakhaven should be in the top ten. Fulton is the #1 team in 2A but I couldn't name the rest in order at this stage of the season. West TN should get 6 team in this December poll I think.

I was told that about stokes also but really don't think he will ever go to Melrose. If Bobby and McAfee didn't start questions then Stokes will just fall in line also.

Melrose just got better!!!!!! Sed McAfee has tranfered from Craigmont to Melrose and will play this season. McAfee is rated #2 in the memphis behind Adonis Thomas(Melrose) in this 2011 class
