  1. Because Waddey is healthy for this game, it'll just add another dimension to the already outstanding rushing game for MBA. The o-line won't necessarily man handle the BA d-line, but they can get enough movement of those guys to open up some holes. MBA has been great of being able to get to the 2nd level and get a hand on the backers, resulting in many long runs....that'll happen again this game too. Especially Wesley Johnson...man that guy can flat out play and he's only goin to get bigger. I'm really excited to see who recruits him next year. as for d.......they won't be able to run up the middle because bubis will have it clogged up again. but running outside zone plays isn't that effective because of MBA's speed. it'll be tough on BA to move the ball mba 17 ba 10
  2. how can you possibly say that mix will dominate wesley johnson? Johnson knocked the guy to the ground every play until finally he had had enough and limped over to his sideline.........great way to honor those ryan alums in the stands by gettin blown out 26-0.
  3. Mix is healthy up to the point to when he has to go against #67 again. Give him 2 series against johnson, and he'll be done for the game. As for goodrum, well when he isn't diving at Bartholomew's or anyone else's legs, he is just trying to run around them, so don't expect to hear his name much maybe the irish should line up #24 at nosetackle again....that worked really well when they tried it the first time...
  4. Ryan's "leaders" played against MBA, but they didn't play long. Mix was out quick after going against #67 Wesley Johnson for a couple of series, and later returned but didn't do much. Goodrum didn't do anything against MBA and Berry had around 60 yards on the ground, so Ryan's "leaders" better show up because the whole Ryan team is going to be looking to those select few when they get down quick and early. It will all be a matter of how these "leaders" respond. If they crumble along with the rest of the Irish, then this game will be over half-way through the first quarter. Sorry but I just don't see it being a good night for you if you're wearing purple. stand by my score mba 27 ryan 7 ps....#50 will be dominant again and the Big Red D will completely dominate the game. Ryan will most likely score on a fluke play, or special teams. Kick-off is definitely one of MBA's weaker points so watch out for a big special teams play
  5. Ryan will come out extremely fired up looking for revenge, but that won't last long. Both teams come into this game pretty one-dimensional, relying heavily on the running game, but their center will have his hands full all game going against Bubis (#50). MBA has a good rotation of tackles as well with sloan, cole, thomas, and ferrel, so the line will give Ryan problems. Bartholomew and Knight are too fundamentally sound to make stupid errors and over-running the ball, so look for the DL to hold up the line of scrimmage and then the two backers and Wade and Radar all come in and lay the wood on barry. As for Ryan's D: they better show up ready to hit because the O-Line for MBA brings it hard everyplay. If they think it will be alright to take a play off, then they'll be watching Vinsang truck their secondary and scamper for another TD Repeat of a couple of weeks ago, but not quite as severe. MBA-27 Ryan-7
  6. This will be different because the game will be actually played on a "football" field. The players won't have to worry about losing their footing every play like they did at Greer. Look for big 50 to have another big game as he had around 4 or 5 sacks against webb. ryan better show up or they're going to get dominated...again, but i just don't see that happening.... mba-27 ryan-7
  7. Ryan better come up with a better gameplan than what they had planned out for MBA and BA, but I see them bouncing back from the past two weeks. I haven't heard much of MUS this year but is that linebacker #34 still there? That guy can play. Ryan pulls this out in a close one. Ryan- 17 Mus- 14
  8. They scrimmaged Riverdale their first scrimmage, and they ran the wing-t. Big Red will shut down 20 and 1 and win this game easy. There won't be much running up the middle because big 50 will be dominating. And remember 67 because Wesley Johnson is going to be heavily recruited next year.
