  1. Alright thanks. It was some info from one of the player's dad at work. I appreciate it.
  2. Rumor has it that 4 Peabody players were suspended prior to the Peabody vs. Milan game. Does anybody have any conformation on that? Supposedly 4 of the starts were suspended from school, before the game this past Friday night. Also, rumors are saying that Coach Jeff Morris from Milan called TSSAA to report that incident and had Milan practice football today. Any conformation on any of this? Players that are being said to be suspended are >>>>>>><<< among two others.
  3. First off, that is A LOT of big talk from someone who hasn't even seen Peabody play all season long. Yes, Camden did beat Peabody in week one of the regular season. Peabody is NOT the same team that they were earlier in the year. In case you haven't noticed, Peabody has knocked Westview AND Milan out of the playoffs. These boys don't care what the name of your school is, or who beat who when and where, they play their season one game at a time. You all can underestimate Trenton if you would like to, but when it comes back to bite you in the end, there will be no excuses accepted. Thank you.
  4. I have been hearing a lot about #7-Harper and also #8-Johnson, from Trenton. About how they just can not be stopped. Even though that is probably true, lets give some of the credit to that Offensive Line from Trenton! Without a line, nothing is possible. Roll TIDE!
  5. I am reading a lot on here about "Alcoa cruising on to face Goodpasture", If I am correct, Goodpasture has to get passed that very hot team called Trenton Peabody before they can meet you at the buro.
  6. Oh excuse me, I messed up. With the band, there would be about 60 people. Because if you guys want to get onto things that are good year after year, we could easily do that. But this is a football topic, so Ill stay on that.
  7. You want to know something that I find a bit funny? Who cares if ya do, im gonna tell you all anyways. You Milan fans are so "for the Mighty Bulldogs" but I am about 99.99% positive that you give Milan one bad season, which probably won't happen, but speaking hypothetically, if it was to happen. You would have about 100 people in the stands, and that would be the band. You guys are like Colts fans: all hardcore until they lose one.
  8. Here is what I have to say. It doesn't matter who is going to do what next year, or the next year, or the next year. November 23, 2007 only comes 1 time for all of us. Friday night is what matters for right now. Let the kids play their game, because I hate to break it to you, but no matter how hard we hope our team wins, we can't really tell who is going to do what. But im sure that we already knew that. It does not matter who won what game until after the game and it only matters about that game. Whether Milan would beat Trenton 9 out of 10 times, those 9 times only matter those nine times, not the 10th. Its gonna be a good one.
  9. I do agree with you that Milan is a very fast defense. They have really stepped up their game the past few games. I do have a question though. I have been to almost all of the Milan games this year and I just have not been impressed with their offense. Do you think that Milan will stay in it with Trenton because of their defense?
  10. Here is the difference about that. Kendal can move around the field A LOT quicker and easier than #12 from Huntingdon and Hudson from the JCS Eagles. With that said, if you send someone all night, the kid runs, makes something happen either down field or takes it him self and out runs everybody on the field. The team has many dimensions. They can throw the ball, the backs can run, the QB can throw and run. Like I said, it WILL be a good one. I am looking forward to it! Good luck!
  11. I was actually writing my post on this board, until I had seen yours. You said it perfectly. This is no slam whatsoever against a great Milan team, but Milan wins its games off of mistakes made by the opposing team. Of course a team is going to win if they have 5 interceptions and 2 fumbles. But if Peabody comes in to play, and does not have an excessive amount of turnovers, those "Trentonians" are in for a treat. IMO you can not stop the Peabody offensive, the question is will you outscore them? And as of lately it has been Milan's D that has stepped up their game. It will be a great game. Good luck to both teams this Friday!!!
  12. Yeah, it will be a classic. Probably one of the best games of the season. But do you honestly think that Milan's D can shut out that powerhouse of an offense that Trenton has? I think as long as Trenton does not do anything stupid, as far as turnovers go, it will be Trenton coming out on top in this one. Good luck to both teams.
  13. What does everybody think about this possible match up? When they met earlier in the year, the Tide from Trenton actually held the Bulldogs to about 100 yards. Trenton put up over 325 yards against them, have 3 HUGE turnovers and lost the game 13-6? Do you all think if Trenton comes out to play in two weeks that it could be Trenton coming out on top?
  14. I think we should all just lay off of the location of the game, because no matter how hard we wish our opinions mattered, Im sorry, but they simple DO NOT! But rumor around the West TN area is that Carver had 9 FANS in their 1st round playoff game against BTW; which just isnt enough to pay to use the stadium alloted for the 2nd round game(PHS vs. GWC). So it was actually Carver's idea to bring the game to Trenton. So everybody can quit it with the "Peabody should have won their region if they wanted to play home" stuff, because as far as anybody else knows, it was NOT Peabody's idea to bring it to Trenton. But we will see how it all goes! On another point, does anybody else feel a little bad for those kids out of Memphis, that have no support, no money within their schools, let alone that, not even their football programs? Those kids from memphis are not breeded any differently than us over in the Gibson County area, yet they have no support?
