  1. With every game that passes, Henry County seems to get stronger. It will be hard to scout them if games continue to play out this way because they don't have to run many different plays. Maryville is still the team to beat until someone knocks them off, but I think the Patriots can be the team to do it. Maybe they will be tested in the quarters or semis to gauge how good they really are. Brighton was supposed to put up a fight but lost 54-0.
  2. Woooooooooooooo. I need details of the game. Although I am sure it played out as the rest have.
  3. Actually it should have been 5h 15m!!! This is quite stupid, but I just now seen that we registered on the same day. Odd. Maybe we are the same person?
  4. Hey cut me a break. I get my information from a classmate. Maybe he doesn't know what he is talking about? /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
  5. Not a shot in **** that HC scores less than 40. I just don't see this game being close. I have been wrong before, but I think I am right here.
  6. I think the green machine has a hydraulic leak somewhere around the cerebrum. My god what are you smoking man? This thread should have an IQ test as a means of a password to grant posting privileges.
  7. The score of the games does not do justice to how efficient HC is. Most of the pts scored in EVERY game came in the first half. So, you can't look at a 48-13 game the way you normally would. Seeing is believing, and Brighton will be believers this Friday. HC 54 - Brighton 18
  8. 93. I wish I could look to see which ones I missed.
  9. If I had been there long I would have called in sick. Going to try to get off for next Friday. As for the scores, thanks for posting them. I am shocked we had 7 td's and none over 35 yards.
  10. Dang it I hate I had to miss another game. It sounds like another blowout happened again. 41 points with 11 min to go in the 2nd? That is insane. Brighton is in for a very bad week with or without their QB. I hope he gets better, but it wouldn't have mattered if he was healthy. Only thing I was looking forward to was HC getting some work in against a pretty good O. Who all scored and what were the distances of the runs or passes?
  11. Yes I know that the D has played more than the O, but I still feel that they still need to improve. The way Treadwell ran up the middle along with the poor tackling is cause for worry. BTW, where did you coach at? I haven't been around CoachT for long.
  12. How can you pick the region 8 teams to win 3 of their first 4 games and not pick HC to win region 7? I am not an odds maker, but I am almost positive that the odds of HC winning region 7 is far greater than the region 8 teams winning 3 of the first 4 playoff games. You may be right, but they would all be below HC. HC has not played any very good teams yet, but I believe they will take care of business. Those Memphis teams are probably well improved from last year, but the strides HC has shown on Off. is phenomenal. As good as Melrose's def. is, I find it hard to believe they will hold HC below35 pts. I say 35 because I figure that HC will actually have to play their starters the whole game, and 35 pts for an offense as good as theirs is very feasible. My only concern is lack of playing time for the DEF of HC because they need to shore up that run D. I think actual playing time would help a lot. I do not coach though so maybe I am wrong.
  13. Why don't you 2 get your own thread to discuss your differences. The last time I checked, we were fans of a common team. I understand that you are upset with Prophets comments, Warrior, but as a coach, did you not tell your players to be the bigger man and walk away. Lets just stop the hostility between each other and get focused on the game coming Friday night. There are going to be extreme fans that sometimes make absurd comments. If they do indeed make these comments, I doubt they are susceptible to having their minds changed. HC 47 - JCM 13 with those 13 coming in the 2nd half.
  14. JCM should hope for a 35-7 score. This game will be worse than that.
  15. What? You must be saying that as a Charger fan because that is a ludicrous statement at best. And your team just played against the best last Friday.
  16. In most years if not every year recently, that has held true. However, this year I believe HC would beat Alcoa. Maryville? Not sure just yet.
  17. This post isn't based on the past is it? Maryville and Alcoa are definitely the teams to beat, but that is why they play the games. Don't overlook HC this year.
  18. Well I cannot comment on that because I don't personally know him. Why do you say he has bad feelings from when he coached there?
  19. She is getting better. I had originally planned to stay at Martin after school because I have a 1:30 history class, but it wasn't to be. I like the blowouts, but I want HC to have to work for it some on the field. They obviously have excellent concentration in the week leading up to the games, and Gaddis has kept them on their toes, but I think it would serve HC well to have that experience in a close game. Thus far though, it seems as if all they need is the motivation from last year. Whatever works.
  20. Nah, I am just hard to read. Enough about HC VS. Milan though. I cannot wait for the next game. Two weeks seems like forever.
  21. You are way off. I actually like HC more so than Milan. I attend HC games even though I live in Milan. I lived in Paris all my life up until a year ago. I attended every HC game last year except for the first round, and that was because I could not make it. I had to drive 45 minutes to make the games.
  22. My wife had to go to the doc, and I didn't make it back in time. Had to listen over the radio at home
  23. I just have trouble believing that, with as bad as HC was, Coach Morris would have turned them down because he "knew" HC was going to be good. Come on. Look, I like both teams and respect both teams tremendously, but I also look at this subject a little more objectively than those who like only HC or Milan. I do however believe that Coach Gaddis may have tried to put a game together with Milan. I am not trying to refute that statement. I just feel that the game was turned down for other reasons. I doubt Coach Morris would say, "well I would but you know, I just think you guys will be contenders for the 4a state championship, and you guys will be one of the best teams in the state." Think of how silly that statement sounds if it had come four years ago. HC has never challenged like they are now. I think it is great. I love to see them succeed like this, but saying that Coach Morris seen this coming or "Milan only wants to play us when we are bad" is just ridiculous. Even if he had seen HC beign good, there is no way ANYBODY foresaw this coming. So, assuming HC was going to be good, I still feel like Coach Morris has too much pride and confidence to say "no, you guys are going to be too good in four years." I doubt Coach Morris scouted all of HC's 8th grade programs and came to the conclusion that HC was going to be this good. And when this all supposedly went down four years ago, HC was in a down cycle.
