  1. Oh and do you think high school hand pick their refs? and determine the calls they make? You are trying to take away from someone other than yourself because you are cowardly person and can't give respect where respect is due..maybe you think the refs were biased but to talk about how that is the only way a team wins their games..wow I have alot of respect for you. Teams win games because they hustle play and are coached better and that's how you ultimately get to the state tournament. A team got beat by 32 points and all I'm hearing is how much better they are..how many points does it take for someone to admit that maybe they're just not as good as the other team? 50? Houston County has a good team and I'm not taking anything away from that but they are NO where close to the caliber of CA.
  2. Innocentbystander..you are a complete joke. If you think that Houston County got anywhere close to getting the shaft in that game. I beleive Malcom smith got a tech for trying to save a ball from going out of bounds after getting fouled. Houston County was at home with their home referees and got beat by 32 points after CA started sitting their starters at the start of the 4th. CA could have kept pouring it on and won by 50 if they had wanted to. If you couldn't tell by the turnovers and easy buckets and feild goal percentage and every other stat that Houston County is no where close to being at Clarksville Academy's level idk what else to say. Getting beat by 32 points and stil saying your better than someone..come on now. And if it wasn't blatantly obvious that Travis russel is the best point guard in the district look at the stats or watch the tape from tonight's game.
  3. I've heard some good things and a few bad things about the teams in the district. CA seems to be beating teams pretty by a pretty good margian. I see the other teams are having pretty close games. Can someone please post every team's record and tell me who the front runner for second place this year. and I'd like to hear who everyone's predictions for 1st team and 2cd team players in the district
  4. Cooksey is a good point guard but Travis Russell from Clarksville Academy would have to be the best point guard I've seen. I've played defense against both of them and I'd definately say that Travis Russell is the best point guard in the district. I'm not taking anything away from cooksey he is a good point guard but I definately think Travis Russell is the better of the two.
  5. The kids that you named were good choices. Malcom and Martin Smith from Clarksville Academy will definately be a force this year for their team. A kid that people may not mention because he sat out most of last year due to a transfer of schools is Travis Russel from Clarksville Academy. He is a junior this up and coming year. He transfered from Rossview to Clarksville Academy last year and was not eligible until the second game of the district tournament. He will be one of the premeire point guards in the state. David Woodard from East Robertson should also be in the mix. He can get into the lane at will with the abilty to jump with anyone.
  6. Clarksville Academy is going to be feirce in 1a next year and have played in 3 camps with mostly 3a teams and are 12-3 with losses against fayette ware by 6 seigal by 16 and henry county by 4. The loss to fayette ware was without a starter out with an injury. They have looked sharp all summer and will be a force to wreckon with in 1a or any class for that matter.
  7. They were missing five starters who play everywhere for them from pitcher(3), outfield(3), and infield(2). so basically they were missing half of their starters so i would say NCS got lucky their schedule was like that but i also feel many of the basketball players wouldnt trade their experience at state for those two games that mean nothing but seeding in tournament they know they can win
  8. I think that NCS got really lucky catching CA without their basketball players because that means if they win out that means they will end up 1st in the district but they're going to have a big surprise waiting for them in the district tournement, assuming that both teams make it to the championship. CA is 11-4 but 11-1 with their whole team back run-ruling 3 or 4 of those games. They will be a force from now on. they're now (6-2) in the disrict. NCS is a good team but they will see a totally different team than what thet faced at the begining of the season.
  9. Miles Barger out of Clarksville Academy played most of his entire junior season with a cast on his arm while missing 3 games and still had 20 receptions 3 touchdowns and 230 yards. I can't imagine how good he's gonna be with two hands. He has some speed too. His 40 time was around 4.5. He definately has d1 potential if he'll grow a little bit
  10. Clarksville Academy should definately been in the mix. They are 6-0 since their basketball players have returned and have run ruled 5 of the 6 teams. They also beat a really good Sycamore team that has been doing really well this season
  11. i dont think theres anything wrong with playing humboldt or manasass first, you would definitly have to play them eventually so why not play them first. and they arent unbeatable, just very talented. should be a great tourny, good luck to everybody. and i like humboldt in the first round, they just have too much size and talent unless buckner goes off.
  12. The Clarksville Academy Cougars are in from middle TN. They defeated Collinwood by 10 and it is the schools first ever trip to the 'Boro
  13. Anyone seen these guys play? They're amazing
  14. well they got beat by one player on thursday night. Malcolm played like a man in the post and at one point in the first the score was malcolm 22- eagleville 22. they just came out and wanted it more. much love to jared wilson he came out and was knockin down shot after shot. think they may have been closer had they fed they other wilson in the post more but CA was packin it in thight. Congrats to CA and best of luck to both teams on makin it to the 'boro
  15. I know 10A pretty well but havent heard much about 9A who in your opinions will be the teams to watch from both districts
  16. CA killed them..the game started out with CA going on a 20-0 run. At the half CA put in their 2nd and 3rd string and they finished out the rest of the game. Congrats to Malcom Smith on scorring his 1000th point last night. Scoring 1000 points for a career is incredible not to mention as a SOPHOMORE and his sophomore year is not even over with. He has great things to come as well as the entire CA team. CA finished their year undefeated in the district. Good luck to the rest of the district. District tourny should be good.
  17. Do you know that Malcom and Martin are both sophomores..and the rossview transfer who is eligible come district tournament time is only a sophomore.. The rossview transfer Travis Russel is a definate starter if he had been eligable all year. If McEwin has talent to match those 3 and 2 other key sophomores for CA then McEwin should be a state caliber team in the two years you say they need. Im not trying to put McEwin down at all im just saying with the Martin,Malcom, and Travis being seniors and the rest of CA growing and maturing its going to be tough to beat them. Yes it's true and he's the real deal. He is an all around complete player and if compared would be put over Sam Porter.
  18. Pretty bold statement.. Hope WHH can back that statement up Friday. Good Luck.. You'll need it.
  19. Haha you got me. WHH surprised me and are definatley better than I thought they were. Congartulations on yall's win over HC and congrats to Albright on his 1000 mark. Keep it up
  20. Warriorprincess.. You are a pathetic person. Degrading high school students from another team which you know nothing about is sad. First off I would like to answer your question on slapping the backboard..Malcom smith, the CA post player had just got through pinning the ball against the backboard, therefor making the back board shake and the ball to not go in. You can not purposly hit the back board after a shot to shake it and make them miss but if you are blocking a shot off the board its going to shake regardless. Now about CA's point guard you were degrading. One foul was on boxing a kid out, another was trying to take a charge, and the other one his emotions got the best of him and picked up a tic tac hand check call. Anger management? seriously.. Him slpaping the floor could of been avoided but he is a player with passion for the game and when your that passionate your emotions get the best of you sometimes. Also refs cant win or lose you a game, its just every fans cop out of why they lost. They lost because the didnt score as many points as the other team..end of story. I know your mad that you lost but some of the things you said were un called for..and your an adult. I didnt see anybody on CA on here complaining about how your fans were talking trash to the CA players on the bench and how your crowd agged it on just as much as CA's fans did. Grow up
  21. I hav'nt seen any of the east tennessee players but hands down best sophomore in Middle Tennessee is Malcom Smith from CLarksville Academy, started as a freshman and made all region and led the team in scoring and rebounding on a team that went from 5-22 to 21-9 led by him to the reional semi finals last season. His brother Martin Smith is also one of, if not the best players in Middle Tennesse also started as a freshman. 7-0 (4-0) this year both are dominating their district and are going to give their region fits come post season.
  22. scrapman, WHH will not beat CA. HC is better than WHH by 20 points. Ross Albright is a good player prob top 3 in the district behind CA's Malcom Smith and Martin Smith WHH will finsh 3 or 4 in the district if they keep playing how they're playing and gutting out W's P.S. The reason people do not like WHH is not because of years past. It's how everyone of yall's boys and fans act. Your son may be an exception because I've not seen him act like that in years past but clean yall's act up and no one would have a problem. I have not seen yall this year so I dont know im just going off of what I've experienced in years past. I'm not dogging yall im just answering your question. Oh and everyone on this cite knows your son is good. You don't have to tell us. Let his play speak for it's self. Yes, people don't give him enough credit as good as he is but you don't have to defend him. Malcom and Martin Smith's father from CA isn't on here telling everyone how great his sons are, same goes for Woodard for East Rob or Dillard from HC. I don't want you to take this personal you seem like a good guy who has his son's back, but just leave it up to everyone else to form their opinions don't try to form it for them. If they keep dooggin they keep doggin.. so what? your son is good and WHH is tied for 1st in the district.. no one can take away from that. WHH keep up the good work maybe yall will gut out second or third at the years end because I dont think they can hang with CA. Scrapman keep posting your opinion just chill with all the smack talk and their wont be so much animosity.
  23. ethan dillard-houston county martin crozier-clarksville academy miles barger-clarksville academy and of course you number 13, your probably on all the scouting reports as someone to watch out for
  24. What are the records of the other district teams.. all I know is that CA is 4-0 (2-0) in district
