I'm not all knowing about stats, but Ogle was an all state kicker last year as a sophomore and not just because of extra points or 47 yard field goals. I would guess that his kicks go into the opponents end zone about 85% of the time, so that shouldn't be an issue. They start at the 20. So he is a big factor in this game in my opinion. The punt return is probably the most dangerous threat for greeneville! By the way the kid keeps getting bigger. I heard 450 about and hour ago. lol He is tough!

I'm not a fan of the sysytem but you will see Willie anywhere and everywhere! Punt returns....maybe, Kickoff returns....maybe, deep safety......maybe, QB......maybe, wide receiver....maybe. He has looks from several colleges and had he been there last year, good chance they weren't number 2. They are a better team this year! Don't overlook Willie!

I have picked the game as well. This is my biggest concern for Greeneville in the game. No major mistakes or turnovers and they'll be ok. Oh I am a Greeneville fan also!

This entire year has been a three ring circus on here. Greeneville cam out of the gate a 4A a favorite and ranked number 1. In any sport, that becomes a bulls eye. Many thought the non conference schedule with Jeff County, Sullivan South, and Tn High was weak. For a 4A school that's usually not bad. Tn High may have got beat in round one of the playoffs. They also played Elizabethton who is still alive in 3A. Yet, still a weaker team according to most. Their conference is not the strogest and they did what they were suppose to...demolish. I read the Nashville article and know a little more Maplewood. I don't have kids playing, nor am I a coach. We are proud of our boys who have broken record after record for Greeneville and have an opportunity to break some state records. We are proud and I am sure the Nashville fans are proud of their team, but you wouldn't like some whites creek fan bragging about how much better than you they are and how week your team is. This may be the game of the season for both teams. The fewest mistakes wins this one. I think Greeneville's defense is better and gives them the edge. But, no one knows til Friday. I just hope there are no injuries and good sportsmanship.

Man I just get tired of the crap on here by teams that don;t even play us (Greeneville or Maplewood). I have been around HS sports for a while. It is great to be in the state semi-finals for both teams. Each fan base should be proud of their boys win or lose. The have accomplished great things that the fans like to brag about. We don't need 11 gold ball almighty Alcoa angel (BC) on this thread telling us how much better than maplewood and greeneville they are. These teams will never play in playoffs. If they like four A so much then bring it or or go hush.

West Greene was there worst game in my book.

I'm not a basher, but I am a greeneville fan. You guys always post about Greeneville's weakness in the passing if you stop the run. No one really knows how good the passing is because no one has really made them throw it that much. My predictions have been much lower than everyone else. I think I said 45-7 week 1, 42-21 week two, and last week I said 38-10 or whatever but doesn't matter. Fulton forced them to throw a few times and they scored once from the 1 in two plays. That's prett good for a crappy passing team. I don't think that was Shuffler recieving either. Each week should get harder, but until someone stops them don't bash a team averaging about 45 a game in the playoffs and giving up an average of 4 in the playoffs. Yes they can be beat. But, no team has posted the same type of scores and stats and we are very proud. FINISH!

I got a couple of question on the TSSAA records. This was discussed a week or two back and gville was at 594 or something. If so are they at 720-730 yet? That gets them close to the 733 that is in the lead and in less games if so. Also, what about Ben Ogle for extra pts in a career? The 5th place on the list is about 160 or so. Now I have no idea on this but lets do some easy math. 707 / 7 is 101 extra points if he were to have that many. IDK. But lets say he had 90 this year and 65 last year and 50 as a freshman. That would put him around 200 and in definite range of the leader at 232. Does anyone know? Any other records? Most rush TD's in a season - Carmichael? Most takeaways in a season? Thanks

Doubt we will hear much from the Gibbs' faithful, but I will give them the credit they deserve. They are better than Fulton, they scored three. But the defense gave up an exta score, so I guess there close game was truly a game between equal teams.
