They should not be playing Gleason. They have already played them twice. Beat them at Gleason and lost to them at home.

For me, it is not so much a team as a place to play. The region 8 runner up will not want to travel to region 7. They would have to go on the road and most likely beat Greenfield, Lake Co. or possibly Gleason. It will be an uphill climb to win at any of those places.

That is what had me so surprised. That did not sound like something that you would type. All is well. Is the Lake co. Bradford game postponed or are they still playing?

I don't know, and I am done with it now anyway. This is hands down the stupidest argument I have ever allowed myself to get caught up in. One day I will learn to not let people bring me in like this. I will just state my opinion and when they get bent out of shape because it does not match theirs, I will leave it alone. I hope.

I have seen only a handful of Bradford games. Three or four this year to be exact. I do know what she does though. Also, I would love to see Jordan Gailey win the award, but if I am going to be objective I would have to say that Jordan is the 3rd or 4th best player in the district depending on where you rank Hubbard. It is not like I am on some campaign for Molly Wallsmith. This all started because I stated my opinion and then you went into the "they should be ashamed" comment and it took off from there. For the record, nobody sees players from other teams a lot. Maybe at play days and things, but that is it. You will see Molly two times a year plus maybe another game if your team is not playing that night. It is the same with everyone else. I have watched what they both do on the court, and in my opinion Molly is the better ball player. I am sure that by the time T.T. graduates, we will look back on her career and say that she was hands down the better player. I have never denied that, but if I had to have a team this year, I would take her 2nd to Molly. It is just my opinion. I don't understand why people have such a problem with it. It is not like I am giving you guys my political opinion. This is high school basketball. I believe we forget to put things in perspective sometimes.

Molly gets my vote because in my opinion she is the best player in the district. T.T. is hands down the best athlete, but I think Molly Wallsmith is the best basketball player. It is just that simple. I think Jordan Gailey is a fine basketball player and probably the 3rd best player in the district behind Molly and T.T. Many people believe T.T. is better. That is fine. I went overboard because either on this thread or another one (I forget which) people were making statements like coaches should be ashamed if T.T. does not get it. I don't think it is that cut and dry. If you don't believe me, ask Harper 44 who is a player for Trenton. She has played against both and her vote was Molly. As I have said, I really don't care. I just got caught up in it. Bradford and Lake Co. can have that trophy. We have our sights on much bigger things.

Also, there are 3 girls who could win the MVP: TT Flowers, Molly Wallsmith, and Jordan Galey. But, like Greenfieldfan said...who really cares who wins this award. It's a team game, or it's supposed to be, anyway. I'd much rather the Jacket team win the district and the tourney, than for a player to get MVP. Any day of the year. Come on Volfan..Don't kid us like that..She surely got those at the free throw line..Huff and others really kept that quiet the whole night and all day today.. I can't understand you..You must be from Bradford like someone else said..But you are judging T.T. based on the the one game that you happened to see..Evidently if I did the same ..could say the same for Wallsmith when I saw her against Humboldt in the Christmas tournament..and then last night ,she only had 5 points..So it does happen..And because I've been to all the Lake Co games..I know what T.T. has done..You want stats..I know when she has 20 points..leads the team in assists..steals..Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see she had 10 steals..plus leading her team mates to make steals also..But yet you are seemingly gettting mad..That's why I said I hope sbl or Falconfan will find some stats..Because I know she's been scoring over 20 points a game..Been playing very well..! Funny thing is Huffy......TT should prolly be a nominee for single A Miss Basketball or at least be in consideration.....but she is only a soph.. so it will be tough....however, in the coming 2 years it will not surprise me for her to be nominated and also receive the award by the time she graduates....far as the other award how do you get it? lol!!!! anyway, congrats to Greenfield beating Bradford.....hope we can do the same at their place on friday.....also, TT stats are preety unreal....she leads us in scoring, assists, steals, and top 2 in rebounds...she could also lead that category if she played a different position....she also shoots about 80% from the free throw line.....also, how is the MVP decided .....best player in the district or most important to their team.....if best player in the district it would be TT no doubt.....most important to their team hard to choose between TT, Galey and Wallsmith.....BTW TT's turnovers early in the year have dwindled greatly....since christmas the turnovers are slim and almost none....PS the travels called in the game against greenfield at LC were not travels....if you have watched bball in wtn for many years you know how Mr IVIE calls travels......girls in his opinion cant make the same moves as the boys......one of the 5 walks called was a walk....... sbl I talked to some folks that were at the game. When I told them that bigster said those travel calls were not really traveling they just laughed. So, who do I believe? You guys who are biased toward Lake Co, or the guys biased toward Greenfield? The radio guys also called them traveling. Maybe you and Bigster should teach the refs what the calls should be. All I know is the ref said it was traveling. The Greenfield people said it was traveling, and the radio said it was traveling.

That proves that she is pretty tough on both ends of the court. Also she is the assist leader on her team. It says something when you are the assist leader and the scoring leader and the steals leader on your team. Bottom line is she plays both ends of the court just like T.T. and she makes a lot fewer mistakes. You have yet to comment on all those mistakes. Don't they take away from the player? You need to start coming to Lake Co games and watch T.T. play more often..In a lot of games..she is out in the 3rd quarter..We could have scores a hundred points against some teams..SBL or maybe Falcon fan may be able to get you her stats..Now..if T.T. was playing on Bradford's team ..evidently she is the only one scoring..I see they had 35 points last night..Did she score all of them..If so..tells me that she has to shoot a lot..and if T.T. had to do that or played with a team like Halls..could score and average 30 points a game..!But T.T. has some other players around her..But because of her ..they also get their points..I've seen T.T. give up a layup to feed an open team mate for a layup.!Maybe you should get out of Greenfield more..I go to a lot of games..Saw Bradford in the Christmas tournament..Bradford is capable of beating anyone on a given night but Trenton and Humboldt has had their way with Bradford..Last night she didnt have but 15 points ..But Tarrida Abbott and Carnation Hart had 19 points a piece..Carnation would be a star at some high schools..Put her at Halls ..she would score 25 or 30 a night.!In other words..a good player on a team struggling is going to get their points..a great player on a more balanced team is going to share the ball and does so many things that you couldnt imagine.!And if you were as fast as T.T...I'm sure you'd turn it over once in awhile.! I did this because of what you said in the other post..I know how you feel about Wallsmith..I've seen them all play also..I believe more times than you have..Didnt see you at Lake Co-Greenfield..I haven't missed a game and even went to a lot of games when Lake Co isn't playing...And you're right..We arent going to agree..And like you said ..I dont care either ..And as far as best team..I never said we were the best..but I believe we are one of them.. Ashamed of themselves? Come on now. If you think T.T. is that much better than you are definitely a homer. Both players are very good, and both can make a case. You think T.T's case is stronger, I think Molly's case is stronger, but listen to yourself. You sure sound like you are saying if people don't agree with you then they don't know as much as you. Saying a coach should be ashamed of themselves if they don't agree with your opinion. Come on Bigster. You are a better person than that. It is not like we are talking about Michelle Street or Ashley Mcelhaney (sp).

I don't think the coaches would say that at all. T.T. has been a non factor in a few games this year. Early in the season she had quite a few games where she was scoring between 2-4 points a game. I know that she was only playing 8-10 minutes, but against weaker competition she should be scoring and doing more than that if she is the best player in the district. Like I said, we don't have a vote. I do believe that it will be Molly, but Bradford and Lake Co can fight it out for that trophy. Greenfield wants the trophy for the best team. After all the 1st question people ask is not how did an individual do, they ask if you won or lost.

Surprise pick from you That's why I hope to hear from Chipper..Purple..maybe some players themselves..I saw what T.T. did to Trenton..Dyersburg and just about all the teams we've beaten..I knew Huff was going to say Wallsmith as well as you thinking that about sbl..Huff said Wallsmith this year..What has she done..?I know some are going to say that she is all Bradford has..that he has to shoot all the time..At the beginning of the year they had Street..Combs and some others..T.T. does it all for Lake Co..Spreads the ball around..Plays defense with a vengenace..I dont believe any other player could have come up with the rebounds like she did against Greenfield..She does too many things not to be..If she was on Bradford's team ..would hit fot 30 points a game if that's all they had..My vote is T.T. in a landslide..!I said not to put any players down..And I'm not..Wallsmith is a good player.. She also makes more unforced errors than any other player I have ever seen. She got called for 7 traveling violations against Greenfield in the last game alone. I forget how many she got called for in the 1st meeting, but it was a few. She is very good, but she still makes a lot of mistakes.

Without wallsmith bradford goes under .500 without a doubt. TT did not do squat when they played bradford. Wallsmith will win district mvp.. book it I agree. She carries Bradford night in and night out. Even on her bad days she will score 15 or so. T.T. has some growing up to do. I have no doubt that she will and I really can't wait to see how good she will be next year, not to mention her senior year, but this year Molly scores more, passes better, sees the whole court better, and is a better shooter. Those are my opinions except for the better shooter comment. I believe the numbers back that one up for sure.

I agree with volfan007. I see them coming in 2nd maybe in the district. That would mean that a 1st round regional game against Bradford, Trenton or possibly Humboldt. I think Dresden would be the underdog against any of those teams.

Bradford is one of the toughest gyms in W. Tenn. to play in. There is a lot of pride and tradition in that gym. I don't think it is a stretch to say that Bradford is in a bit of a slump right now, but they are still Bradford. They still have the best player in the district, and they don't like to lose especially at home. All that said, I think Greenfield will win this game. I think they can win it convincingly, but I think Bradford has too much heart to give up in a game so I think it will be close. Greenfield by 5.
