  1. i believe east lit. will do fairly well.. maybe even have a chance to get first.. seymour's got a pretty tough squad.. it will be interesting.. and antioch can shake things up.. they have strong lower weight classes. thats whats kept them going the whole year..im afraid i dont see them placing... but, i think they will come out tough.. maybe win a match or 2.. but, teams like overton, franklin, brentwood, independence, soddy, ooltewah, ect, ect.. id have to say they dont stand a chance.. even tullahoma a team that got 2nd would be to stong.. but, ya never know..
  2. well, they are really the only ones that have been trying to drop weight.. as far as i know.. region 7 seems to be loaded as far as im concerned.. and nick burnley i heard got disqualified in a match.. and he has to be out 2 matches.. which means 2 matches in the region.. which puts him out of the tourney
  3. soo, lets hear about the wrestlers that have changed their weights.. im curious.. you can never tell where wrestlers are going to be, with them dropping and gaining weight week after week.. did osatile drop to 135? and is soboun going to have enough energy to be effective at 103?
  4. wow.. this sure is a huge jump for someone that wasnt even ranked.. i dont think he's beaten towry.. but, mcphee has beaten towry.. soo, i guess its the same concept
  5. well, thats what the score card looks like.. thswrestling.com i believe might have the results if im not mistaken.. hearing this news about pegram, there is noway id miss the region 7 tournament let a alone state. where is the region tourney gonna be at this year?
  6. not from what im hearing.. but who knows.. but, i mean.. a tech.. i could understand 2, 3 points.. but, 15..
  7. Glencliff isnt known for their baseball players much.. but, ill give everyone someone to look out for.. he's a 6'0 200 pound senior.. a cannon for a arm, a 1.2 second release, can hum the ball to second at 86 mph, and batted over .500 the whole year last year.. and not to mention he runs a 4.7
  8. where was reams? i thought he was back to full health.. and pegram did what? teched cody quick?wow.. pegram is really coming on strong..
  9. im still waiting myself.. do either teams have a website that they post match results on?
  10. WELL im sure both were happy to return it.. what weight classes did tullahoma forfeit?
  11. well, i guess thats always the best thing to do. congrats to tullahoma.. great job by both teams..
  12. ohh.. wow.. how did the matches go? 103-heavy?
  13. anybody know the results of the glencliff/ tullahoma match today?
  14. when do tullahoma and blackman wrestle?
  15. i wouldnt exactly call it that.. yea steiner would have beat him.. and you may be right about their 130.. but c'mon now.. was antioch's wrestler really trying to even wrestle pegram? Pegram was trying to work all the moves from my veiwpoint.. which means while the antioch wrestler saved his energy Pegram was wasting his knowing they needed a pin.. and shawn rhodes? hmm.. how many times has he beat pegram this year..........? not at all from what i can recall.. and didnt he pin him as well? hmm.. reams against antioch's original 189(pin) and rhodes vs. Pegram.. (pin) or major dec. and clemons with a pin as well..thats the way it would have went down.. but, soboun did gut that match out.. heck of a job by him knowing he no more injury time.. nuffio is a good wrestler, very up tempo style.. vongsamphanh looks like he wants to slow things down a bit.. nuffio was just alil to much to handle on that night.. the rucker/ williams match was pretty impressive.. i thought rucker would have won by more than that.. but willaims held his own.. Reams looked pretty good.. im still not buying into him being fully healed tho.. individuals will be a great showdown.. region 7 is finally showing to everyone how good they really are.. goodluck to glencliff, east lit, and mlk.. congrats antioch.. lest hope region 7 can make a splash in C'ville..
  16. wow.. soo, i guess 28-28 is really wooping up on glenciff huh? lol.. guess it was alil closer than many predicted.. Antioch did what they thought they had to do.. Glencliff shoulda won that match.. but, could, shoulda, woulda.. you can look back now and realize glencliff has the better team.. but, steiner could of pinned his guy, 130 could have kept the other guy from getting the major decision, the 215 could have pinned his guy.. OPPORTUNITIES!! congrats to antioch.. lets see if they can make it 2 in a row when it comes to region individual's like Glencliff did.. does anybody know who Glencliff wrestles saturday?
  17. ohh. well then.. i guess this could make the match even more interesting.. any predictions on scores? lets hear em..
  18. where did you hear this at? has his injury completely healed?
  19. im pretty sure thats the way it is.. i wanna know how glencliff is coming along.. i know last year antioch was predicted to win.. i just wanna know what everyone else thinks about the way the tourney will play out.. who all has dropped for antioch.. and the same for glencliff
  20. yeah.. i think lillard will get second or third.. and wasnt the score of tsegaye and greer like a 2 point difference?mintlow is gonna take 145 with ease and but, chandler could run into some problems at 140.. and clemons, ya never know bout him.. i think when region rolls around he'll be looking for some revenge on a couple of people
  21. wow.. that seems like a good match.. wasnt garret's shoulder already hurt before the tournament? and your right.. if garret went 145 it would make for best match potential.. they are both strong and physical
  22. well, i think i could prolly shake some things up.. im thinking tsegaye from GL if im not mistaken almost beat Lillard in the hendersonville.. I dont think lillard is the best in the region.. im thinkin greer or tsegaye.. also, the 112 from GL and antioch.. that will be a good match to watch.. im thinkin GL.. but, nuffio looked extremely quick in the GP west.. its a toss up to me.. steiner from GL should drop if ya ask me.. as far as state is concerned.. Lett and osatile are too strong and quick.. -- EL's heavy should do alittle better than people give him credit for.. id watch out for him also, 152 looks tough just by looking at the names.. clemons will make it too state.. i dont see him getting 4th.. top 3 atleast the Antioch and EL match at 189 should be a dandy.. as well as the 145 match with mintlow and chandler.. and how did mintlow beat garret? i saw the results.. i just wasnt sure..
  23. yea.. he placed 4th in the father ryan, beating franklin, and placing higher than both towry and mcphee.. he couldnt wrestle his last match for 3rd due to injury
  24. well, ya know.. the 215 from Glencliff beat the number 2 state ranked guy in the father ryan.. and placed higher than both the number 3 and number 2 in state.. soo, im guessing 215 has alot of surprises.. i look to see alot of upsets around state time..
  25. i think glencliff won both.. and cheatham beat white house.. not sure what the scores were.. but, thats just what i heard.. anyone know who won and lost?
