Just an observation--- Dyer Co. Starts a lot of underclassmen and older guys too. Dyersburg Starts mainly Sernior and juniors and Got beat So I would say they are developing thier player ---- Cant say the same about Us (DHS) We might need to re-think our philosophy! Whatever DC is doing it is working - I think they have owned our district for the last 8 years

whats even worse is you spend your whole day on coacht! get a job adsmommy! typical parents not holding kids accountable!

No complex-- just stating the facts! Most parents wouldnt allow their son/daughter to leave their team to go with their girlfriend sking! I hope he has fun while his team is working! sounds kind of selfish! But if the coach allows it (im betting not) have fun! Truth hurts sometimes doesnt it 73qb?

Im sure your coach is not happy about it! from the looks of DC's schedule they have 5 more games this week! You would think 73qb would not let somthing like this happen!!! B ut "All bark and no bite"

73- You might want to get back in town since BA chose to go on a Ski Trip with His girlfriend instead of playing the rest of the week! Im sure your coach "aint likin that"! That doesn't sound like a team player to me--- could be some controversy when he gets back!!

Hey Warmachine--- you should get your mentor or should i the guy who paid you a lot of cash at DC Pete Froden to apply For the GC job. Looks like he will have a lot of time after the creekwood loss! And Just maybe you can be the stat guy and the booster club president again...............

kojac--- we did recruit randy coffman to DHS and we knew he could get strayhorn (her dad) to come to! FACT!!!! We recruited a QB by giving the parent a job so like i said everyone does it and trust me when I say this------- GC has no factual information it's all hype

GC-- I'ts obvious you don't know anything --- or you would have already said it! do you just like attention? Every school has recruited in some form or fashion! Heck-- There is a USJ add in the dyersburg newspaper------- is that recruiting? get real- how could a coach really recruit - in home visits? money? gurantee playing tim? lets get real! Im sure GC thinks everyone recruits their kids but really they just want to go play and win! Give a example of how a coach may recruit---- i've heard of giving their parents a job at the school but buying houses cars renting apts. would be to easy to catch ask reggie bush. so enlighten us all knowingly

Well- lets see--------- illegal scrimmages, practicing during the time when you cant practice, letting a middle schooler ride the bus etc...... Duh the school almost lost all of their sports because of him and the right to host a district and regional tournament in their "new" gym! To: Froden he did have a horrible team but he was the coach!!!! also his teams at the previous school weren't much better. You, me and 2 clowns could win sycamores district (i had hip replacement surgery by the way) Hopkins nor Froden put the numbers up like the team they have now! If Mccord was at our School (DHS) we would win the district! Yea your right Hopkins put DC on the Map for having a great team and being known as cheaters! ( and im not calling them cheaters!) Just stating the facts!!! Hope i didn't break your heart

It would have been at DCa lot sooner if Hopkins wouldn't of broke all those rules. Thank god McCord came to DC or the discussion of hosting anything would not be happening. Froden surely would not be hosting or even make it to a regional

I just know that they did not work well with Coach Brown or Coach Mathis! And both baseball and football have been equally as sucessfull as counce was!!! So I hope it works out!

The trojans are almost there! Coach R has done a great job I hope he stays for a while! The trojans will be hot come tourney time! I hope the Counces will work with coach he is a very talented coach ! good luck DHS

I was at the game and it looked to me that coffman just out coached stafford and mccord did the same to DR! Trojan fan 1 As much as you and I would like to believe your post on here! Lets just face it - DC has our number for the next couple of years in everything except girls basketball. Counce being in the paper for 100 times new facilities , coaches , etc. is not going to help revive our School! ( even though your not a alum at DHS) ! DC and DHS Fans acted no different from one another! We probably need to get control of our ON people before we bash others!

We @ Dyersburg are losing kids to DC not by recruitment but by there programs are simply better than ours Right Now! Good programs recruit themselves by winning and they are doing that

Thanks for the info! After lookin at the Murph Fair books Our new/old head coach at DHS may not be a legend as much as we would like for him to be! I found that there are many coaches in west tn that have/had better records/post seasons and a greater effect on there school. We may be shooting our self in the foot by pumping him up as much as we have in the local newspaper! Thanks

Can anyonr tell me where i can find Coaching w-l records for football coaches in west tn past and present--- Our sports reporter (in dyersburg)doesn't do a very good job at this kind of thing!
