  5. Pryor's meltdowns are the reason AE will come up short. It is a shame that the most gifted player in Knoxville is also the most undisciplined. His skill set is unmatched, but he can not be controlled. If he was still at Karns they would be the best in Knoxville. Period.
  6. East TN: Lester Wilson-Carter Rico White, Dion Fair, Galen Campbell--Bearden Lucas Branch--Catholic Jake Sexton--Scott Chase Buckner-Union County Thornton Miller-Greeneville Tres Palmer--Powell Best of the 2011 Class from East TN--Brandon Lopez(Austin East)
  7. I love the "youth football programs" line with the stress on the plural. Us folks in the East TN area fully realize that this statement includes everyone's feeders in a 100 mile radius of KCHS as possibly supplying your next QB, RB, OL, or kicker. LOL

  11. Lee Humphrey -- Maryville Aaron Greene -- Sweetwater Terrence Oglesby -- Bradley Central Eric Coggins -- Cosby Michael Mott -- Anderson County Troy Yaden -- Oneida Milton Dean -- Austin East
  12. Nick Price is 6/5 and scored 18 against Carter. AC beat Carter with Price and Kitts by 17 without Rorex. How'd Grace do against Carter?
  13. Grace beat AC by 10 in the championship. AC was without three of their starters due to injuries. Still, a good win for Grace.
  14. 4 D-1 prospects was true 2 years ago when it was based on potential. The potential never developed like everyone expected. Those 4 are big and slow besides Parker and he only scored 2 points against Maryville. Jenkins is soft and extremely inconsistent. Simpson has no atheltic ability outside of size. Who knows about Craig he doesn't play more than a minute and a half at a time. These guys are extremely limited in what they can do as basketball players outside of beating up small mediocre Knoxville teams. I would love to hear the names of some of these D-1's who have offered these guys.
  15. I think it's naive to think Bearden will blow out the Admirals. It rarely happens. Farragut has already shown that they are strong the way they handled the Red Rebels. Farragut loses a close one by 3.
  16. Bonfire, you're an idiot! To put Clinton in the same category of coaches and programs as the others mentioned is freakin hilarious. Take him out of one classless, selfish program and put him into the only other one in the Knoxville area that rivals Carter for classless and selfish play.
  17. I gave my top tier, then my next level, and here's the best of the rest: Tyler Smith-- Union County Caleb Bunch-- Wartburg Tyler Clark, Tucker Trent-- Oak Ridge Galen Campbell--Bearden Tyler Cross--Anderson County CJ Alred--Clinton Cameron Langley--Maryville Landry Hunley -- Farragut Landry Stanton -- Carter Andrew Hanson--Powell Wesley Rather--Oliver Springs Micah Ballard--William Blount Dylan Powers-- Lenoir City Reggie Garrett --Fulton Mykhal Titlow--Greenback Tyler Stepp--Jefferson County Carlton Loque --Seymour Ben Mixer--Farragut Jake Sexton--Scott
  18. Others considered: Campbell/Craig -- Bearden Jones/Lopez -- Austin East Boyd -- Fulton Holloway -- Central Tarwater -- Webb Poteet -- Campbell Co Vittetoe -- Union Co Crane -- Karns Longmire -- Anderson Co Pridemore/Slusher -- Grace Jackson -- West Moore -- Farragut Rogers -- Oak Ridge Short -- Greeneville
  19. IMO Best Players in Knoxville Area: 1) Jalen Steele -- Fulton 2) Skyler McBee -- Grainger County 3) Demonte Simpson -- Bearden 4) Travai Pryor -- Austin East 5) James Gallman -- Fulton 6) Tyler Hood -- Lenoir City 7) Nathan Parker -- Bearden 8) Jordan Rorex -- Anderson County 9) Chase Jones -- Austin East 10) Sam Watson -- Farragut 11) Blake Jenkins -- Bearden 12) Lester Wilson -- Carter 13) Ryan Click -- Maryville 14) Jay Reynolds -- Maryville 15) Joe Meady -- Carter
  20. I wonder if Chase Jones will play since he wasn't allowed to against Catholic on Friday. Is AC still without Rorex? He would definitely help against AE's pressure. Jones and Pryor will be out of shape but it shouldn't matter. The best way to get the ball inside for AE is to shoot it and let the big guys rebound. AC will be hard pressed to keep this close. They do not have the talent or the toughness to play with the Roadrunners.
  21. 1) Grace Christian 2) Greenback 3) Oliver Springs 5) Wartburg 5) d/k
  22. When Grainger beat Anderson Co, did Jordan Rorex play for AC? He was MVP of their district last year and one of the better players in the area.
  23. Carter might be a little off right now, but they are still the 3rd best team in AA this side of the state. It's just too bad the two best are in their district. They have talent and athleticism. They have a great guard in Stanton, good forwards in Hayes and Wilson, and a monster in Big Joe. They also have some nice young uns in Ballenger and Braylon. Look forward to seeing what Coach Buell can do with them....
  24. So a team that won one game last season, and that Wartburg beat by 20 is going to the State? There must be some good stuff going round in Kingston these days.......
