At one point, Loudon, Stone Memorial, Anderson County, CAK, and Catholic all used to be in 4AA's region. None of those teams are left. The vacuum of good teams in AA is incredible. AA is very weak. Four classes is needed in basketball.

Top 2 teams in 3AAA and 4AAA automatically qualify for regional. Oak Ridge, Maryville, and Bearden all get region berths. Knox Central and Anderson County are trying for last spot. Central gets it both win out from the tiebreaker.

Catholic will be in the highest division of D-2.
