After reading this, I will go with the obvious. Multi, multi, multi, millionaire. I live around, and know a lot of wealthy people. You would never know they were wealthy. OMG, how many times have you posted this on CoachT? Why didn't you mention that you had some of the best players to ever come through Volunteer and never accomplished nothing. You tried to play a slow down controlled game with a roster full of athletes. Probably the only players in that time period that were better was Science Hill. I remember you wearing a shirt that had all your accomplishments printed on it. Who does that? Only you!!!

With the enrollment over 2,400 students, this should never happen. 2400 STUDENTS. The ole saying, if you get beat 20 the other team has more talent. If you keep getting beat by a few points, it's coaching.

Why not go back to 2 refs. Maybe this would rid some of the worst one's.

John Dyer, (are you kidding me)? He has coached for almost 40 years. He just got win #600, an average of 15 wins per season. One state tournament trip in 40 years. If he hadn't moved down to AA for several years, his win total would be atrocious. Don't believe me, look it up. They named a gym after him! Well, they named the gym at west ridge after the school superintendent for some crazy reason. This was pathetic, when you have gym's named after Buck Van Huss, Dickie Warren, Bobby Snyder Charlie Bayless. That is the way that works.

Just seen Coach Warren has passed. He was a legend in East Tn. along with Buck VanHuss, Bobby Snyder, and Charlie Bayless. All 4 have now passed and have left a legacy in East Tn. When Coach Warren started at Central he had some of the best teams in the area. The best was 70-71, 36-0 ranked #1 in the state. Lost a heartbreaker in first round of state tournament. He had 922 wins from 1958-2000. Anyone have any memories of Coach Warren?

If ETSU doesn't get any better, the coach will not be there.
