I thought Webb was a really senior heavy team. Im not sure who all they have back etc…if he’s as good as the Harmon kid from Catholic then he’ll definitely make a positive impact.

Kinda related. I think Knox County public schools being so good at football right now is making it more difficult on all the private schools because so many kids are playing in Knox Co.

I know the regions change from time to time because of new schools…etc This fall is last year of current cycle? At one point HVA played against the more East TN teams outside of Knox/Blount/Chatt. (Jeff, Mo-East, DB, SH). It’s definitely a tougher region than they used to compete in each year.

Great guy. Great coach. HV did really well. Followed him since his days at CNU. He will do a solid job. Happy for him and the Hawks.

Coach Fant seemed like a great guy. Wish him well! I think there are many different schools in Division II that are trying to determine if they want to/ or can afford to invest in everything it takes to have a good football program. I’m not sure if ND can or wants to invest all the resources to compete? (Literally not sure, they could be, I just have do not have w any knowledge of there comprehensive plan for football). Hope they hire a great coach, Chattanooga is turning into a wrestling and football town!

It’s actually interesting to see most of the largest 6A schools are ok at football, not great. I think the types of students and general population of the region matter more than the number. I think it’s a time for many schools to determine what they want to do moving forward. Many independent schools are willing to invest money through coaches, facilities, programs, nutrition, change admissions standards, increase financial aid etc… In the current set up, to really be competitive in and with mid-state I think it takes all of those. The other hard part is that you could win most classifications public and private state championships but still lose to CPA and most of the AAA schools. They’re all on another level. Hope they get someone great and spread out the wins in that region!

Wow. That’s a huge jump in enrollment. The secret seems to be out about our great state!

Not a fan. Just reflecting on season. There are many schools that have never made it to the 4th round. I just was curious how they got there. Seems like they ran a pretty creative offense etc… obviously Knox west is in different category. I only watched the Knox West game, so I’m not sure about their other games etc..
