  1. I doubt you will get any Tennessee teams to attend, this is our Mandatory dead period from June 26 - July 9. According to TSSAA, Dead Period: No coaching, observing, or contact between coach and players in sport involved. There is no practice, no open facilities, and no weight training/conditioning. If a team from TN does attend, they will have to do so without any of their high school staff. Back it up a week and I'm sure you'll find plenty of TN teams.
  2. Looks like according to KNS Region 3 Maryville Heritage
  3. The C is not undefeated, they lost to Science Hill at the Alcoa Duals on Dec 30th 52-14.
  4. A two day tourney counts as two dates, regardless if you have anyone wrestling the second day. TSSAA STATE/REGIONAL dates do not count towards your 18 either.
  5. I'm confused...by aloud do you mean arm sleeves that make noise? Or, is your question is if it is allowed? No it is not allowed within the TSSAA rules per their specifications it must be short-sleeved, but if it makes noises aloud, I'm not sure. The rules say nothing about sleeves that are aloud.
  6. Ummm....Hardin County and Hardin Valley are not the same school. According to my research, Hardin County High School is 2.5 hours east of Memphis near the Miss and Ala borders, built in 1959 in Savannah, TN. Hardin Valley Academy is in western part of Knoxville, but is a newer school, built in 2008. They are only about 300 miles apart, so I can see the confusion........
  7. What about finals results? Team scores? The good stuff?
  8. From a player on the current team at Halls. Jullian will take over at Catholic.
  9. Just announced Tony Lambert replaces Larry Kerr on PrepXtra.com http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/mar/30/s...nty-football-c/
  10. Go Irish........I bet they will be undefeated in this renewed rivalry. Any chance of getting all the Catholic schools statewide together for a meet? I bet that would be a great tradition to start.
