Coach Quinn did any amazing job and will be missed, any idea who will get the job?

I would like to congratulate the Clarksburg Rockets and their head coach Daniel Wolford on being runner up in district 13 A. So far the Rockets are 20-11 on the year and coach Wolford has done an amazing job with our boys. Last year we didn't win 10 games and went 0-2 in the tournament. Now we move on to play his old team in Greenfield, they are good but we can do it!!! Go Rockets!!!!!!!

I cannot begin to express how sad this is. Stephen was truly given a gift from God that very few ever get to experience. I loved watching him play the game of baseball and he will be truly missed by anyone who knew him. Last year when he and Dalton Potts pitched against each other was the best game I have ever had the chance to be a part of, and that is how I will remember him. The Clarksburg baseball team sends our prayers to family, friends, and all that are feeling the pain of this situation.

Guru is exactly right. I got to watch perry county vs Clarksburg tonite and bailey, tucker, and Rhodes were all on the court tonite and Devon Bailey is clearly the best of those three. He single handedly had Clarksburg within 10z Perry co has a great team that should go far. They have two kids who are special, but those other 3 are very good as well.

Huntingdon should and will be the favorite but I wouldn't write off Clarksburg this year. They have a new coach that spent the last few years at Greenfield and he is creating some excitement with the program. Should be a great year!

That game was maybe the best I have ever saw. Riverside and Greenfield are the two best teams in the state and that was the state championship game. That came directly from Dusty Rhodes mouth. Dalton Potts and Steven Gant both allowed only two hits a piece. Potts kept the BEST hitting team in the STATE to only two hits and that was simply amazing. Greenfield should not have allowed Union City to beat them Wednesday and they would be going to the state tournament. I know TCA is a great team but they would not have sniffed Potts. Riverside fans were a class act and I just hate that the Greenfield boys do not get a chance to go contend for a title because they deserve it. NOBODY will play Riverside like that again and you can bank on that. Only gripe was the umpire behind the plate was pitiful, both ways. Was not consistent what so ever. He did hurt the Greenfield hitters because he was calling strikes letter high, and you cannot catch up to a ball at your letters when Gant pitches. Great job both teams, could have went either way!

That game came down to coaching, and coach Martin from Adamsville just out coached forsythe hands down. Mcnairy played the same way all game, never changing a thing and Martin took the guys in at halftime and coached them up. Good job Cardinals and congrats coach Martin.

The player you are referring to is Brett Jackson. He had some offers but decided to walk on at UT Knoxville and is being red shirted.
