  1. LA could have won that game if they would have been hittin their free throws. if i remember correctly they missed thirteen maybe more i cant remember. but this was the game that there was 92 fouls called during this one game
  2. oh yea and to mcminn... you guys brought a larger crowd than expected to last nights game. congrats on making your season continue as long as you did. number 23 and number 10 really stood out the most to me last night. good job boys.
  3. ya know king 21 i dont think we need mcminn there to support us. we have all the crowd and support we need from our hogeye fans. fans you were absolutely outstanding last night. hope that all of you will be there next saturday to cheer us on in the finals. boys congrats tonight!!!! of course everyone is congratualting ol' ramsey and i am too, heck he pulled 15 rebs last night so he needs some recognition and some of those rebs included some mcminn boys hanging on his arms. dunn played good as usual. and kendall melton has really stepped in post season and tournament time. he has been playin great! t.j. smith played some good d and showed up to play some outstanding d and offense in the second half. and i gotta give will peterman some recognition as well he also stepped last night off the bench and played good! congrats LA BOYS!!!!! and to o.c. people that doubted us early on..... well look where we are now. just remember that true blue hogeye blood runs deep! and those true hogeye fans showed that last night.
  4. well from what i seen last night the big kid from white house is just a little bit slower than ramsey ever thought about bein. all i seen last night from white house was a little penetration and they kept feedin the big kid the ball. and honestly i think t.j. smith could guard that big kid and block his shot. la will win this one. they can shoot more and are more of a diverse team. dunn and t.j. smith can drive and shoot from the outside. and we have a deeper bench AND we have more than just one post player. we have a whole team that can score. i dont mean to dis white house or anything but i am just using my reference. which was lasts nights game against upperman. and honestly if upperman would have been hittin there threes they could quite possibly have been the opponent for la tomorrow night. but lets just all face it people the big HOGEYE should win this region championship. go big blue!
  5. last nights game was definatley an amazing one for the wildcats, afterwards everyone was hugging and crying even coach melton lol. i love hogeye and i am definatley proud of all of the wildcats. dunn did have a spectacular game but he could not have done it alone. ramsey also stepped it up and played great when he was in foul trouble. and t.j. smith played some good D and he also was in foul trouble. and todd smith played a great game as well. oh and i also thought that will peterman played good and got some crucial rebounds and he had nice lookin three pointer too. congrats to coach melton and the wildcats. now lets beat white house and play at home monday night in the sub state game. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  6. i agree with the win of fifteen or twenty. but i guess we will all see tonight who will guard who. i think that it will be a great game to watch though. LA has really been playin good team ball lately. GO HOGEYE!!!!!
  7. o alright. well last night la beet cannon pretty bad. and i think that LA will win. but it might not be as much as thirty but it could be if they play the that they have been. but upperman is always a hard place to play at.
  8. yea they are at tech this year. and i believe steeler 07 pretty much summed the way it is supposed to be played out.
  9. i agree that it will be a clost game and i also agree that LA wins it!
  10. didnt upperman have trouble with cannon with all of upperman's starters? or am i wrong.
  11. tomorrow night smith co. comes to LA. what are your thoughts about tomorrow nights game?
  12. well i have to say that i was very impressed by jeremy mclearran last night during the la and jackson co. game. when the usual scoring threats were not scoring their usual twenty plus points he really stepped up and played the way a post should always play. but i also have to say the guards were able to rebound and play some D when their shots were not falling. good job LA. also that kendall melton kid was a really good sub last night.
  13. well it was definately not a old coach... some of the most well known coaches from LA are Derward Vaughn and Larry Looper and a couple of others but they are two that people mainly remember. but the legend of Hogeye is this... about seventy years ago there was a bunch of students that went to school in this small community named Bethsaida and its nickname was Hogeye and it was in Overton County. a lot of the students that moved to LA played basketball so, when these players were on the floor at LA, the other students that had went to the Bethsaida school would cheer for their former classmates and yell let's go Hogeye. so the chant has stuck and now its just as much of a mascot as the Wildcat. Go HOGEYE!
  14. well i was at the game and t.j. smith played a better game as well against them he had 21 or 23 points and 10 rebs. dunn did do good as well. i thought LA looked good friday night they looked like they were playin more team ball. they have jackson co. tomorrow night at home.
