Memphis is just missing a few key parts to run that offense the way it should be ran.... Give that "unproven" Coach a couple of years with some more recruits and you'll be eating those words.... Coach Pastner might be "unproven" to your standards, but when you lose what Memphis lost any coach would have turn around season. Memphis lost: NBA Rookie of the Year, John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, and a couple other recruits, Coach Cal (don't like him, but I respect his coaching ability), most importantly a recruiting year basically. Coach Pastner was left with basically a month or so to come up with some kind of recruiting class.

You made my point even stronger! The best 65 teams aren't in the tournament! ETSU is in the tournament because they play in a WEAK conference just like the weaker teams in the state tournament! It isn't the 4th place teams in the 7th and 8th regions we are talking about here its the 2nd place teams we are talking about! If you look at it Mississippi St. isn't the 6th place team, they are the 2nd place team in the SEC tournament... So I wouldn't be happy with that, especially when you take the #2 team in the nation down to the wire and lose by 1.... Mississippi St. deserved to be in the tournament.... I agree with Purple&Gold spread the fun of going to Memphis and playing with the other Regions!!!!!

Well, if you want to really go there with who are the best teams.... play some of the teams that didn't get to go to the state playoffs because of playing in one of the best regions in the state! Have those not so good teams play in a better region I BET they don't make it because of the teams that are among the best 8 teams! Trust me they wouldn't want to play in Regions 7 or 8!!!!!!!! ETSU wouldnt wanna be in the SEC either but there on a plane to go play in the first round and Miss. State is sitting at home Bad example... Mississippi State isn't at home!!!! not gonna argue with such a humerous statement..but i remember similar things being said last year when FHS played Bolivar n BTW and 2 yrs ago when FHS played mitchell..lol but hey, since beavo5 said it i guess we should listen!! GO FALCONS I guess, you finally understand how this should work!

Elite 8 as you call it. They aren't the Top 8 teams in the state. They are the 8 teams that made it through their sub-state games. City University and Union City both could beat a some of these teams, but they have to play tougher competition vs. BREEZING through some weak region play!!! Also, in AAA, nationally ranked Ridgeway is sitting at home, while teams that aren't even ranked in the Top 10 in the state.

So you saying that Kentucky vs. a #16 Seed is a potential championship game??? Yeah, that sounds so smart... Speak when spoken to!

How blind is this "blind draw"??? I want them to get a guy/girl that is totally blind to draw out the teams!!! Heck just get a ref to do it, these days it really wouldn't matter which one you get they all are about blind! 2 years in a row! The potential championship game gets put into the first round!
