If I am not mistaken, this is a private school kid talking and it is very obvious you cant spell or have any kind of english....you should not be discussing the predictions because you have not had a taste of what a champion is and what championship caliber teams do.... this thread is mostly made up of Mt. Pleasant, Wayne Co., Collinwood, Moore County for which all are champions and have the right to speak what they think because they have experience the pain/winning combination and not the whining/losing combination...

Word on the street... he is taking over for Pat Summitt at UT...

If pain is only weakness leaving the body, how come you guys only one one district game the last four years? Obviously, you have never experienced a pain/winning combination because you lose by 50 points every Friday night... dont make predictions unless you are a winner yourself.... as a matter of fact, you have never played on a winning team...

So I guess I am right... he was recruited to come to Cully.... trust me....Slatten did have something to do with it and there were phone calls, etc... to get this guy to come to Cully....

Where did Coach Hall go....

Check with Spring Hill and you will find out for sure.... Slatten has been caught before and has been warned... the kid from SH is a good point guard and was convinced to come to Culleoka after playing and meeting with Coach Slatten at the YMCA....

Rumor in Spring Hill... Slatten has done it again... he was able to pull the starting point guard from Spring Hill and convince the kid and his parents to move to Culleoka.... when is the TSSAA gonna put a stop to this guy....

Best coach in the district? You must be crazy... Look at Les Trotter at S'town... he wins games and wins big.... he is a good floor coach and has won some big games.... David Lee at PC is also a great coach and has a good mind and knows how to get his kids ready to play.... Derek Boyd at MP has won several coach of the year awards and also is a great coach .... the coach at Cwood (dont even know his name) hasnt even been in the district long enough and only took over the talent that the previous coach had.... so get your cards on right and do some research before you speak your mind....

What happened to the previous coach at GP.... why was he let go bec of inappropriate conduct?....

It will be a battle between Hampshire and Zion for last place....that would be a good one to be motivated for... Clifton got a new coach this year and I believe he is from Decatur County.... Clifton, Zion and Hampshire will be fighting for the last three spots in the District this year....

More money..... remember money comes before talent....

I agree with you that Cully will be above the rest this year... and Slatten is known to "recruit" and get some top notch athletes and rumor is that he has two new players on his team and will enroll at Culleoka this fall...

If you feel that way, and I understand and know what you are going through... but trust me.. do this, go straight to the source... go to the AD or to the Principal and talk to them face to face and demand to know what is taking them too long.... sometimes politics gets in the way and some people just dont get the job done the way it is supposed to be done...

I have heard the same thing that he is going to one of the small Alabama schools.... he has also applied at Independence and some talks have come up about him going to Mt. Pleasant....

What about Coach Hall at Richland... where did he end up?...Where-ever he goes he will be successful....

Inappropriate conduct? What do you mean by that .... what happened? Spann is a great coach and will get some improvement from the girls .... best of luck ....

Dont forget the fact that Perry Co did not lose anybody and they have probably the best freshman class in the district.... Wayne Co and Stown will be tough and I believe there will be a shake up in the district this year... I do not think Stown will win it and think PC will surprise everyone....

What about the JuJu kid I believe is Julius Jones number 30 last year... is he a threat at running back ... he made some good plays last year..

After watching the playday and talking to 5 of the coaches in the region .... my predictions are and I was on the money with my predictions last 2 years... so my predictions are .... 1. MP (will go undefeated in a very tough close games with 2 to 4) 2. Wayne Co. (will give MP a run for their money) 3. Moore Co. ( new coach, a late run last year, win over MP will boost their confidence) 4. Collinwood ( will give WC and MC a close encounter, could be in a battle for 2 and 3) 5. Cornersville (just not enough of firepower and depth to match up with top four) 6. Huntland (rebuilding but enough to beat 7 and 8) 7. Columbia Academy (can be strong if stay healthy, could give C'ville and Huntland trouble) 8. Zion (only win this year will be 2 in a row over PC) 9. Perry Co. (young, and could be catching up with losing streak of Red Boiling Springs)

what is the consequence if this happens... there are tons of schools especially in the small towns like marshall county and lincoln county as well as lawrence county that have been allowing the rising 8th graders practice with their high school during spring practice... I mean what can TSSAA do about it....

I did not know the TSSAA rules prohibit rising 8th graders to practice or play in spring practice even if your middle school is across the street.... I thought they were eligible to play or practice with high school since they are moving on to the 9th grade... I guess what you are saying is that you (8th graders) cannot participate in spring practice with varsity till the fall (school start).... is that right?

How did MP look in the scrimmage? Did the big kid I believe is going to be a freshman this fall.. I think his name is TJ Smith... how did he look.... who played well for MP... who is filling in for Marco....

Source out of some PC fans at the game in mt pleasant said 2 or 3 starters quit the team this past week.... who were they and why did they quit....

I got a question to ask and please be specific.... with all of the basketball, volleyball and football scrimmages... can you have a two or three day softball camp where several teams are invited to participate in scrimmages all day like they do in the playdays in beginning of the season... what I am asking... can you do this in the summer? I had some coaches ask me about this and I thought it was a good idea....

I recently was in Georgia at a football coaches clinic and some college coaches were there recruiting and handing out info regarding their schools... Marco Dailey name came up several times and questions were asked... I overheard some coaches from Murfreesboro telling the recruiters (Miss. State, Lambuth, Memphis State, Juco from Mississippii, etc) that the Dailey kid was not going anywhere and was not even interested in attending college... I found that hard to believe... so what is up with this kid... I saw him play twice and he really electrified the game...
