As for the 55, I'd say two pick sixes and a fumble inside Forrest's own 20 had more to do with that than Marion "punishing" Forrest. Although the score didn't show it, it was clear to me that Marion had a better team last year. They are good yes, but certainly beatable.

Those kids weren't scared last year. Maybe a little tight and nervous, but definitely not scared. Amerigha tends to overindulge a bit. One thing this team doesn't lack is confidence, that's for sure.

I was standing twenty feet away and watched the entire play. No push-off and a clear reception by Wild. He came down on his back with possesion of the football.....game over. The Meigs defender then rolled over and attempted to rip the ball away, which was irrelevant at that point. Anyone that thinks differently clearly doesn't know the rules of football. It wasn't even questionable or close.

Speed.......as a team, Forrest is much faster than last season. That's the only real difference I've seen.

So prior to tonight Meigs fans were saying we want Marion again. It won't be like the first time, we've improved. They lose, and now say Marion as bad as they want versus team that just beat you? Makes sense. 😂

LOL......no push off (only the refs had a better view than I), wasn't even close to a push, so that's sore loser delusion talking right there. Meigs may have been one of the dirtiest teams I've seen in a long time. If you don't want penalty yards, don't commit penalties. Its called playing disciplined football.
