DC up 22-18 at the half. From what I heard on the radio Dana back up to her half court ref attacks. Lol. Hate that im missing this but can’t complain one bit. My wife had her baby this morning!

Last time I remember it being there CHS was the site but Upperman handled everything. Which I’m sure they wouldn’t be opposed to doing. But either way it can’t be changed now. I was selfishly hoping it would be closer only because my wife is expecting and cookeville isn’t nearly as far away from our doctor as crossville lol. Monday is in fact her due date!

Would rather it be at Cookeville High...can’t really see TSSAA disagreeing. Closer to all schools except YAI=more money. Although I’m sure there are some rules I’m unaware of.

What surprised me is that we did run with them. In fact she called her press off early in the second quarter because we were getting such easy shots. I think I only saw it a couple of times after that but not on every possession like in the first quarter.

Apologies. You’re totally right I misread. Hopefully the flu or injury bug hasn’t hit. No better time to rest her than now though. No easy games from here on out.

All I saw in this topic was that she scored 37 points..nothing about an injury.

....can we discuss the tournament now? If DC plays defense like they did in the district semis and are able to make some shots I think we have a chance. But it’s still gonna be tough. Here’s to hoping we can get hot at the right time of the year and make a run.

Reffing wasn’t great EITHER way. DC didn’t shoot a shot in the bonus until 1:17 left in OT.

Anyone know stats from the game? How many did Dishman, Brown, and Ferrell score?

43-41 cc after three. They’re playing a lot more physical. Giving us problems

DeKalb up 33-30 at the half.

Gonna be a tough game for DeKalb but would love to see them pull it off.

York slips by DC. Good game from Smith in addition to bad shooting from. IMHO Ferrell could have had a lot of success driving to the rim but oh well. On to the next. Maybe we can pull a shocker in Crossville.

DC played good enough defense to win. Couldn’t make shots. Hopefully we can remain tough throughout the next couple of games, regardless of where we end up.

DC beats Watertown 50-48 in OT

DC gave Livingston all they could handle. Led almost the entire game and fell in OT. Was a fun game to watch but wish we could have pulled it out. Oh well, on to Watertown Friday.

I really thought this might be a game where our girls would slip up but we looked solid. Another good win. I really hope we can take down one of the top two before it’s over though..

Good win. We really needed this. Are hard times still ahead? Most likely. But they needed to see that they can win games. Happy for the players and Sanders.

Yep. 61-49. Was up 18 at the end of the third from what I heard. Wish I could’ve been there but had to attend a baby shower (my own kid so I would feel bad lol)
