  1. Allow me to be a lil more precise. Farragut will win state this year (if they get past Lenior City...j/k) I have no inhibitions in saying that they are the best team in this state. I am simply making the statement that if you are going to list some wins, list some of the scores from the Ft. Lauderdale tourney, scores of beating above average opponents. Listing scores in here of how Farragut beat Heritage is like reading in the paper that West High school got beaten by Vanderbilt.
  2. Powell will beat Farragut in what? Wiffle Ball? Because I dont even think they can do that. Powell won't get out of their district. Another classic example of Powell fulfilling their stereotype. Just hang'em up and tryout for soccer.
  3. Hammontree was in Center. Oaks is the kid who broke his arm.
  4. It REALLY hurt Karns' chances by getting swept by OR and Halls to start the year. From what I heard, Karns rolled over at the last in the season opener against OR and then lost 2 close ones against Halls.
  5. Heritage who? Maryville who? I am not doubting Farragut's talent at all. I have seen them play and they are impressive. But they win the games they are supposed to win. Let's face it folks, the only competition they have played is Bearden and Bearden v. Farragut is always a war no matter what sport it is. If you are going to tout your record, have some scores against good teams.
  6. Evidently only as far as Knoxville.
  7. Farragut, hands down. D1 college baseball has been wanting to play scrimmages there for sometime. A true shrine to the game of baseball, even though I dont like Farragut AT ALL.
  8. LOL "sit by your mom at your games though". You all are basically rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
  9. Yep. Looks like we have two "real classy" teams down there in Cleveland. The level of competition in that area is good. Of course, when you go outside that area is when you come to the harsh realization that neither of those teams play "good" baseball.
  10. Karns didnt bring their "A Game" and still won. Karns won with a sophomore shortstop. It never ceases to amaze me of how people play weak competition and think they are unstoppable. Just because you think what you are watching is "baseball" doesn't mean it actually is baseball. Case in point, Campbell County
  11. I loved the "hissy fit" your head coach threw at Cleveland in the Ooltewah Tourney. Really classy.
  12. Tyler Roach, Josh Randles (Karns)
  13. Ain't that the truth. Discipline has been lacking in that organization for a while. Since '04 I think.
  14. aahhh the painful sting of truth.
