  1. Rogers is very fast, so is byram. my perspective is on it is that track is over, so lets see about stopping him in the upcoming football season. DL takes another championship in the school year, so lets look forward to another year and some more state titles. thanks to all the kids who worked so hard at DLHS this year, we're proud of you. to those that have next year to look forward to, may you have a portion of the success as the previous year. good luck DLHS!!!
  2. This goes without saying..race has nothing to do with speed. some folks are just naturally fast. DL just happened to have the fastest, most endurance fed, and strongest athletes at the meet. The Tennessean typically holds a haters viewpoint on DL, thats all I have to say about that. I agree Zach was not a factor in the overall picture. He just added to the pounding DL put on the rest of the state. A 45 point victory isn't a one man show.
  3. To me and most other onlookers of CPA basketball, the shirts had an edge of arrogance to them...it didn't come off as a "goal" it came off as an "absolute". by the way HHS, CPA doesn't have half the well-rounded success as DL. DL has shown that they can win at any sport. Next...
  4. I would dare to say that if "Z" was the "truth" they would have won it all. CPA is very talented but his unaggressive play and complacency doesn't put him "over the top". I don't know about the guy that won the Mr. Basketball Honor, but "Z" would have been the truth had he played at a higher level...once again he is wasting his talent. CPA championship: 3-15-"not this year"Mr. Basketball Honors: 3-15-"not this year"Watching CPA's 2008 magical run crumble: PRICELESS
  5. Breaking backboards won't get a state title either, must less get CPA past DC. maybe CPA should change their shirts to 3-15-"not this year"!
  6. Z could be a lot better than he already is. There is no doubt that he has a lot of talent, but he could be so dominant..and i dare someone to say he doesn't have to be. he would get pushed around in college the way he plays. he's a 8th grader playing with toddlers but his talent is wasted. if he was more motivated and more physical and not as lazy he would be unbelievable. by the way DLHS has been dominant in all sports played..so CPA has basketball, when are they gonna start playing other sports..does CPA compete in cheerleading?
  7. as a matter of fact CPA doesn't like to slow things down...they are terrible when things are slowed down. it may be in dyer co. best interest to do so because their big man and coach are clueless on what to do in such cases. Dyer Co. by 9
  8. I would dare to say that CPA doesn't stand a chance in this tourney. They have some solid shooters, but CPAs big man is over rated. He is very cumbersome and doesn't play aggressive enough. He doesn't utilize his talent. Also, if the game is slowed down he is almost extinct. CPA hasn't run with any dominant teams late in the year either. I think they are going to have a hard time matching up with those they come in contact with during the tourney. Their cheerleaders are pretty competitive though...NOT.
