Unicoi will be tough regardless of who they play at this time, there running like a well oiled machine, bats Lil shaky, but all else is good. Grainger, looking at there schedule here on Coacht, looks like there struggling a bit, but will still be competitive. Last year Unicoi beat them in the region If my mind does not fail me 1-0, must have lost a few seniors? Ether way any team any day can be beat, thats just the way the game goes. Best of Luck to all!

All in all, we did exceptional! I'm so Proud of our Ladies, about 17 games in 6 day's counting the extra innings. Kara Pitched all the games but 1 1/2 @ Eastman and Whitley Caught every game, I know there wore out, but they never faltered!! Love All of You Girls. Unaka was playing Berea, and was down 5-0 @ 3innings I left after that to watch our game.Wasn't looking good for them in that game, not sure how they finished.

Kara Woods had 36 K's in 3 games,5 hits,2walks in 15 innings. against Cherokee,Volunteer, and Sullivan South, the Defense behind Kara was awsome. When One kid is down another steps up. No more bickering between parents, and the kids are really responding well. NFS tournament we Played, S. South Won 4-0, Cherokee 1- U.C. 7 Win, Volunteer Mercy rule. Very Good Talented ball clubs. Not too shabby I would say. I truely love watching Miss Gilbert pitch, she is so calm and collective. Good Luck Monday the 23rd, Unicoi at Elizabethton, should be a real nail biter, with Kadey Robinson on the mound for Elizabethton, Kara Woods on the mound for Unicoi. Kadey pitched a No Hitter Last season and an Error @ the plate give U.C. a 1-0 victory. Outstanding Defense and pitching on both teams. It's worth your money and time to come see this game! It's what you pay to see Win or Lose.
