Yes we are ready for a huge crowd and a great high school game people are already tailgating and getting ready for this county rivalry both teams will be ready for this game I know the chargers are ready and will give it all they got good luck to both teams and prayers for no injuries GO CHARGERS time to GO "bird huntin"

Just want to say thanks to the Bolivar fans and team for hospitality. Also a shout out to my CHRGERS!!! (3-1)(2-0) Great overall team win. Staying focused--one step at a time.

The fans from Covington are gonna show up at Bolivar. Hope for a great atmosphere. This game will mean a lot in deciding region standings. Good luck to both teams. Hope to see my old roommate Rick Rudissell at the game.

Covington is very young. That means we will have our ups and downs. I don't want people to overhype our young squad because experience is key for sustained success. We do have some srs on defense and skill positions. We only won 3 games last year. We are hardworking and well coached but we are taking it one game at a time. Bolivar will be a test. We need a road win. Our coaches will have them ready as I am sure Bolivar will be. Should be a good game.

Definitely true on the youth. We are excited about the future but realize we could be a year or 2 away from being "good". I like our team though. The seniors we have won 3 games last year. They have a chip on their shoulder and want to turn it around. Big win vs Melrose as most picked them to win our region. Next up Bolivar which is 2-0. We will see.

Covington is young on offense. 6 sophomore linemen and 1 Sr. They also start a freshmen QB which happens to be my son. Our defense has some underclassmen and has played well. We had 497 yds rushing last night vs Melrose. TJ Smith a Jr. Had 36 carries for 357 and 5 tds. We don't know if we are any good yet or not. Our kids are well conditioned and well coached. We should be 2-0 but lost in 2 ots to munford. I saw your film today and was impressed. We hope We can keep it close til the 4Th.

Alright so two of our fans portrayed themselves as "thugs"----so what exactly does one do to portray themselves as "thugs" Is it the way they look? Or, is it the way they act? Lots of Dyer County people acted innappropriately also(see thread about cheerleaders) are they "portrayed" as "thugs" also? Believe me I understand how simple it is.

For the folks from Dyer County that labeled Covington players and fans "THUGS"---I hope you get to make the trip to Booker T. Washington on Monday night.
