South -56 Powell -14 With the Saint back at QB and Heath back out at wideout that opens things up more.Look for ST.Claire to have a big game passing the ball as he will have the rust worked off after a good week of practice....And look for Bobby to have a big night running at will..Go Rebels take some frustration out this is a new season starting Friday night.

South-56 Powell-14 That's right after the loss to Tn High the boy's will be out for blood. And for next year I believe we will be better than we are this year....not that we have a bad team this year...and its not over yet we might just go along way. I believe if we see Tn High again you will see a different outcome. Go Rebels...its a new season starting friday night!!!!! Powell might be 5-5 but they will be a challenge for South. They play in a pretty good region. They beat Knox.Halls who is usually good. Lost to Oak Ridge but in a close game. Look for a first round exit for the Rebels in an upset. It sucks to lose in the first round don't it redneck? You're not playing a team from the old MLC. Good luck and Roll Tribe !!!!! Lets see...after we kick the shat out of Powell and you guys pack away your stuff in moth balls...we will still be playing...maybe you can buy yourself a South shirt and hat and pull for the Rebels...and even if we do get beat......hah...hah...no way..at least we dont have to drive all the way to Knoxville to get the crap kicked out of us.....Oh well good luck without CS because he is DB and without him your season is done with him it could be possible.... but Momma said he's done for the year....without him you guys wil be lucky to get a first down.

After thinking it over and hearing Waco's comments regarding the game...here's how I see it.....The Mighty Rebels-45 DB-14 ..I just don't see DB getting much on our defense..Ty and Clint want allow it!!!ROLL REBELS ROLL!!!!!!! DB may not score at all. If they do it will be by passing it sure as heck want be on the ground. Good luck to both teams and I pray that both teams come away injury free.

Great post Ticket to Ride...I think we need to get the running game going...thats not been there so far..besides St.Claire,and he want be available friday night by the way.With St.Claire out that takes away our running from the QB position..I know Heath had two long runs against Central but...get real..a middle school player could run on them.Our running backs are going to have to step up..We don't have a Taylor Fletcher at Rb this year..well we might but!!!!thats another story. I think DB can beat us on our special team play alone.If it comes down to special team play...well DB wins.I say Derrick will return a kickoff for a TD maybe two if we kick to him.And Seabolt will be rotating with Roop at QB.Seabolt is a great athlete that can cause us some problems.Look for DB to pass alot and from what I hear look for some tricks, at this point Graham has nothing to lose and he will pull all of his tricks out of his hat. I hope that I'm wrong but I think this game is going to be alot closer than some South people can swallow. Well said Comp,if our boy's don't get their minds right it will be a long friday night at Death Valley.I know for a fact Graham is going all out to make sure he keeps his streak alive against the Rebels.He has Roop and Seabolt both taking snaps in different sets..I was told he has several trick plays up his sleeve with Chris,Derrick,Seabolt and Roop.Our corners better be ready because they are going to pick at them all night...I was told Graham was watching film and said one of our corners would be a easy target and he is going to go at him quite often...pass..pass..pass.I hope our boys are ready for a all out war because I believe this will be our hardest to date. DB-35 South-21 yep.....thats my prediction....why, after talking with some South boy's they have the wrong outlook on DB's team,they think they are no good and they will be a push over..and I know better.Graham is changing his offense up with Roop and Seabolt running at QB and will be passing alot..and we all know that is our weakness..and from what I have been told we still have'nt made any changes.Our kickoff return team is weak...I can see Derrick Steele returning one maybe two kickoffs for TDs and last but not the least big Chris catching passes out of the backfield will destroy us...DB will play better friday night than they have all year...just wait and see.If you think you will see us blow DB out you got another thing coming. I hope I'm wrong but that is how I see it.

Sorry, 91 but you are dead wrong if you think Stacy is letting our boys just go thru the motions...if you could just see one of our practices you would think motions...And I love Chris to death...but if you think he's going to run all over our defense you are off your rocker..he didn't run all over Boone and he sure as heck want run over us...Clint,TY and company will be more than ready for the challenge of Chris running all over them...And please tell your boys to stay out of Clints way when he runs the ball...its like something you've never seen....South will roll..just not sure how many we will score...but I did like Waco's thought on the score!!!!!

I agree 100%...hilts, if the coaches don't make some changes that will be what gets us beat.Our pass defense is awful..its like they wait to see if the receiver is going to catch the ball before they try to make the play. And we havn't even played a team that can really throw the ball that well yet..but we will..I just hope we are ready.And yes the personnel decisions are baffling.

Heath Haden is just as good as St.Claire...if not better so don't think we are hurting at qb...but I did hear that the Saint might just be ready for the DB game..so if he is that just makes us that more dangerous....we just don't have one star own our team....it seems like it's someone new every friday night. Dangerous game for South. I think they might come in a little to confident and will have to wait another year to end the streak. DB 21-17 Our defense will cause a couple turnovers and that will decide the game. Sorry southers , but we're not going to lose every game this year especially this one.Roll Tribe Roll............. Sorry...91 I don't think South will come in over confident.We take it one game at a time..and I can assure you that Stacy will have our boy's more than ready..we know DB is way better than the 1-4 record indicates..so if you think we will be taking DB for granted you're wrong.With that being said South will end the streak...I believe South will play their best game of the year!!!! A good friend of mine..who's son plays for DB told me last week that James Brown quit...He said that James was tired of working his tail off,then never getting any playing time..thats a shame because my friend said that James was the fastest on the team and played great in all the scrimmages..but just didn't get a fair chance to show what he had...my friend also said his son is also considering quitting and the only reason he want is Dad want allow him to. I hate all this stuff is happening at DB..All this is a result of the man in charge.Like Waco said this just didn't happen over night..I seen it coming when my son was still in the city school system....and it shows me that we made the right decision to send him to South. Anyhow I hope you guys the best.

To the Knox West players that came up to the football game last night and then going to eat with us at Perkins after the game for some fellowship that was great you guys are first class..for we at South will always be a fan of your's..Good luck the rest of the season. Cassell is ready he looked real good in practice the last couple of days..as did Wesley Williams and Hubbard.Bobby looked to be running the ball much better this week .I don't know if Stacy will use Jordan much Friday night..I guess it depends on how the running game is going.I do know Jordan looks like he's been shot out of a cannon when he gets to the corner....the boy is fast if he can just stay healthy he will be fun to watch. Gate City there is a Severe storm heading your way...very strong...and very dangerous lightning.Its called REBEL NATION.

I don't think DB is at all afraid of Gate City...What I do recall is a few years ago they scrimmaged and they had to call it early...because so many of Gate City players were getting hurt.But if they picked up South thinking they are going lighter.....well they should've stuck with DB.

83rebel,you're right if South don't get some more people envolved with the running game its going to catch up with us.St.Claire is going to get hurt if we have to keep depending on him so much.I still feel that Bobby will step up his game.As for Cassell I was told friday after the game he will start practicing monday,I don't know if they intend to use him against Gate City or not..I guess its all in how he does this week in practice with his hammy.I do know when him and Bobby are in the backfield together they can light it up.I do know that Stacy was mighty upset with the way we played friday night and it will be a rough week of practice.But come friday Gate City will pay!!!!!
