  1. Riverdaleman, I wanted to take the opportunity to acknowledge the Riverdale Baseball program. Bill, Josh and I lost our home in the Good Friday storm. We were able to recover about 70% of our things and the furniture and house can be replaced through insurance, but there are things we will never be able to replace. Our world as we knew has been turned upside down. Our family and friends were so helpful in their response to our situation, but I have been amazed by your organization's kindness. Last week, a parent from the Riverdale Booster Club dropped by my husband's office. He left an envelope for us and said that your club wanted to help out. Inside the envelope there was a $100.00 gift card from Sears! I have always believed that good can come out of bad. Your program represents what is right about this community and how people come together. My son plays for Siegel; you did not have to do this for a rival team's player. We can't thank you enough. God bless and good luck to each and everyone of the Riverdale players, coaches, and parents. Robin
  2. Great game for both teams! It was a nail biter down to the last play. Siegel needed a game like this one under their belt. The guys were down, but dug deep and found a way to win. Teams have to do this to win games like last night. We were promised "amazing" two years ago and we got it and more last night! Round 2 tonight at Oakland. GO STARS!!!!!

Hi "Hanna". Hope this finds you and yours well. Things are starting to unfold for the team as we knew they would. Coach Reavis is "fine tuning" the boys. Know this: Going through the fire builds character. It's painful but necessary to achieve your goals. Take care. GO STARS!!!

Think seriously about this...these are your glory days. One day you will look back and reflect on this time in your life. You want this to be all good; no regrets. We've been in situations before that we've had to dig deep and lift our game. When you do, you'll surprise everyone, especially yourself. No doubts, No fear. GO STARS!

Forget the past and focus on now and March 9. We've waited two years for this season...so sit back, relax and enjoy. Coach Reavis has a plan and it's a good one. We are going to see some amazing baseball this season and I can't wait!! T minus 38 days and counting. NO WORRIES! Go Stars!!
  11. Hey Roby, You pitched an awesome game last night. YOU ROCK MAN!!!
  12. Your attitude troubles me. What kind of team goes into a district game and doesn't give 110%, regardless of their ranking? This is an issue of R E S P E C T!! for your coach, your parents, your program, your school, but most of all YOURSELF. Sorry cavgolfer, there is still something pure about this game of baseball.
