First twenty-five minutes of the game I thought Cleveland dominated play with multiple shots on goal and finally getting one with about eighteen minutes or so on the clock. Riverdale came to life after the Cleveland goal and started pouring it on up top with numbers on counters which earned them a goal of their own after a hard shot bounced off of the post and the deflection found the back of the net. The Raiders got another with less than two minutes in the half off of a set piece... I would say the possession in the second half was about 60-40 in favor of Cleveland but no goals in the second. 2-1 Raiders.

Little left footed forward maybe number 10 or 12 ... he can play but you would know if he played or not he will take a dive after just about every play ... Ironically he is actually columbian I think

I completely understand what yall are talking about when you talk about McMinn sometimes there's a difference between playing hard and just playing cheep ... Anyway congratulations Columbia on the big win does anybody know if junior played?

I haven't seen Columbia play but don't be fooled by McMinns record they are a quality side

Strange finish in Region 3, Cleveland beats McMinn County.... 2-0 with thirty-three minutes left in the game and game suspended for lightning only to be called about two hours later a 2-0 Cleveland win.

Ok well ill tell ya who is flying under the radar at the moment... Cleveland. They have a solid girls top 5 and I think they'll do really well in the rest of the post season

Coolbreeze, i don't understand your reasoning.. it sounds to me like you haven't even seen Cleveland play. How can you even assume they're gunna lose?

I'm pretty sure Bradley/Rhea Co. was postponed because of all the rain. I think they play Monday.

I agree BRPM. Listen, Cleveland didn't pick their district and region that's just where they fall. Coach John Brose tried his best to schedule as many tough games as he could. Idk what you're looking at, but the teams Cleveland has played outside district and region are all extremely good teams. CCS in preseason: 0-0 Oak Ridge: 3-1 Baylor: 2-0 Dalton: 2-0 Science Hill: 3-0 CBHS: 1-1 Lenior City: 2-0 Independence: 3-0, 1 half of play.. Bearden: 4-4 Are these teams not good enough??

Do they have a chance? Sure ... they have beaten a few quality teams this season. However, after games against big Knoxville area opponents in Maryville and Farragut I don't know if they will have enough gas left in the tank. They will definitely have to bring their "A" game for this match. I'll take Bearden 3-0.

I will say Cleveland came out very flat in the first half and Bearden definitely deserved the goals they scored in the beginning. But the second half was definitely a different story Cleveland dominated the majority of the 2nd half and scored four goals to come back and tie the game. It's a little bold of you to say "you're still the best" when, first of all, the game was a tie, second they came back from 3-0 lead, and lastly..teams have their off games. Didn't BEARDEN "the best" lose to a non-ranked science hill and tie an also non-ranked Lenior City??

Just thought I would say that anyone who hasn't figured it out already, abyrd09 is in no way a part of the Cleveland team. I can promise on any comment he has made, Cleveland doesn't feel this way at all. This same thing happened last season when someone got on coacht claiming to be one of our players and was making arrogant comments and crazy predictions. Anyone who has played soccer at any point in their lives would know that no coach in the state would say these kinds of things, and ours' is no exception.

I don't know what the rule book says about the buzzer thing, but the only time I have seen it in high school soccer is at the Oak Ridge tournament and Tuesday at Bearden. I really don't care for it at all. I think the referee's whistle is the only thing that should end the game, there is too much ... dispute when the home team controls the game clock. I know the referee had no way to stop the clock on throw in's and goal kick's (especially when the home team is winning late in the game) and that kind of thing because its out of his hands. Anyway, just thought I'd throw in my two cents about the clock ... Stick with counting down to two minutes and letting the ref decide from there.

In addition: Cleveland beat Dalton 2-0. and Cleveland also beat Science Hill 3-0 who to my knowledge beat Bearden. Their schedule doesn't seem too weak to me.
