hello, I am just curious, there is a few people where Im from that are looking at putting a traveling team together, and I was just wondering do you have to be registered with aau or any association to play in tournaments or games?

McMinn Central beat McMinn last year and Boyd buchanan and made an appearance in the state tourny didnt lose much either only big loss was ashley johnson (f/mf signed to bryan)

42-7 mcminn with centrals td coming against 3rd string...First i wanna address the DA'S tlkn about being a quitter..Cole paul is one of the hardest working football players i've had the priveledge of watching and playing with I graduated in 2010 and the only reason goodin had 7 games in the W column was talent pure talent it had nothing to do with coaching and the only coaches on staff at that time kids listened to was wilkerson and massengil because after derrick left kids went from being excited to play to wanting to quit. kids were so excited about football we had kids from the band lined up to play kids wannted to play but when goodin took over everything changed, even the best wanted to quit. Coaching is the single biggest thing besides inexperience that will kill this team. 1. goodin is all about the o and d lines and doesnt focus on anything else 2. he walks around telling his players they suck and wont amount to anything this season 3.there is no senior leadership going from 13 to 6 seniors just this preseason. Kids dont wanna play for this guy and i dont blame em this could be the second year where every sport is finally better than football not just baseball and basketball but soccer and even tennis too...Its time the baby blue buys outta this warhorse trash and tlks to the boosters and doug armstrong and gets the right man in the seat to coach this team and continue a tradition that central is known for. McMinn has 3 players that can absolutely blow by and college highlight films of the db's in a matter of one play. cedric nevins and pat lindsey(former charger turned cherokee after derrick left) have josh moss speed and can bend and cut like reggie bush no on centrals team beside darecio borden and denzell boyd that can hang with this team and two guys cant do everything the only way centrals D does anything is if mcminn runs up the middle all night and even then thats risky...look for central to have alot of penalty yards against on both sides of the ball...folks im telling u mcminn is real this year and central is not...its like i said earlier this is a game of alabama v. tennesse; mcminn is stacked and overloaded and central is weak small young and rebuilding dont be to excited about central especially makin comments like mcminn by 7 its just not gonna happen. I bleed blue and white but even i kno reality when i see it and ur dreamin if u thnk centrals got a chance, u better hope mcminn has a bad cas of demensia and shows up in etowah...im done now but for real all the shoulda coulda woulda burn out wanna bee's keep ur mouth shut about quitin cause u kno if u had someone in ur face urging to quit instead of picking ur self up u'd be gone too...central players keep ur heads up but dont get compacent or u will see a big 0 in the W column again.

i know i dont have a horse in the race but having recently played boyd, id say they have a pretty good chance. boyd is a good, fast, physical team and if they get it wide and no one picks up bodys on throw ins near the goal or corners then watch out... they also have two of the areas leading scorers. personally i think boyd stands a great chance of winning boyd-2 mccallie-1

lets here it, what are your views. I think its gonna be a good game but injuries may come down to the deciding factor these two teams are pretty evenly matched up top and in mid, but in order for central to pull it out, they will have to play defense and play one touch ball instead of playing with it. im dreamin big with that score haha but i agree with the 1-0 i really do...i respect boyd soccer and know to win central has to play all out and do nothin but attack hard and play defense harder i think it will be a good game and is the best match up boyd has out of this district

this is how i see it...you obviously cant go by the schedules on here.. with that said boyd has a good team and central has a good team, in my opinion the best team central has had in a while...Boy has two top scorers in the area but so does central...Central's defense can be subject to argument but with a new formation and switch in line up they have stepped up and shut out every other opponent...They have a very good keeper in bown who btw has 2 stops on pk's...oh and homefield advantage may come into play I see it as Central 3- boyd-2 i see central coming out to prove a point and show they are a contender and pulling the upset but we will see come 5:30 at the centrals field

central has a few quality guards in ashley johnson and caitlin casteel and a few upcomin sophomores that will be good assets... they also have a few girls coming out of middle school and one girl imparticular coming out of middle school who a well known area coach says she has the best shot he's seen in a long time. so be looking for central to be making some noise again

well this is what i think the problem is... central does not have a post besides stiles that wants to box out they have players who want to just play offense and no defense i mean come on this isnt rec ball anymore you have some stiff competition and it does matter where you finish... you cant have a player take 30 shots and only hit 10 and you cant run a man up defense on every team you play especially when you only have 3 people who wanna play defense..its a good thing this district is weak and that billingsly at sweetwater doesnt have 4 or 5 other guys behind him or they would be in the drivers seat...and another thing when you dont play your tallest player at 6'5 who is also your best shooting post and shot blocker, somethings wrong...so in conclusion to all this when your starting 5 doesnt know how to play together and your one of your top scorers has been on the bench because you have your starting 5 already down based on who they are there is something wrong...if you would've asked me in the pre-season who was gonna win this district it would be central hands down but that's when your starting 5 wouldve been 1)simpson 2)williams 3)moss 4)stiles 5)wilcox but now its a toss up
