I had a post deleted and I was curious as to which potion of it warranted this action. I realize it wasn't a 'possitive' post, but I would like to know where I went "too far". Any explanation would be appreciated. Thanks

Other schools/coaches that run up the score should be criticized too. BUT.... These were TWO private schools involved! You're an idiot if you think this is about private schools. If we were so against private schools then we would be saying "glad a private school got the snot beat out of them". But that is NOT what our complaints are about! We see unsportsmanlike play and we are calling Ezell-Harding out on it. You absolutely have no argument, no excuse for that display, TWO years in a row I might add! Is that why they are still throwing the ball that late in the game? So they get the practice, so they can run up the score again next year? I would love, just love for one of EH's coaches to get on here and try to justify what happened. EZELL-HARDING taints the word "Champion"!

Don't interpret this as kicking Franklin while they're down, I'm not trying to do that. But if Franklin can't score but eight points against Brentwood, then they are really going to struggle against Dicksom Co. DC is giving up just over seven points a game. And that is against the likes of Riverdale,Beech, H'ville, and Overton. I would not be the least bit suprised if DC beat FHS. DC's problem is they can't score themselves. I just thought I'd throw that out there.

Maybe that is why Jeff Fisher sends his son to CPA, and not Ezell-Harding!

Man, if Oakland was somehow able to win this, the region 4 playoff situation would get real interesting. Especially w/ Smyrna yet to play Blackman and Riverdale!

It's interesting that a "Christian" school would show so little respect and sportsmanship towards an opponent (another Christian school at that). Let's see, the message is what? "If you can humiliate a lesser foe, by all means do it". Is that the message? I would think that putting up 30 points in the first quarter would have given an indication as to whom was better. Was it really necessary to score another 40? I would have been far more impressed with the integrity and values of this "Christian" school if they had ran the ball against them. The link given earlier said they only ran the ball 17 times on the night. So they obviously were trying to run up the score. What goes around, comes around.

I saw the word required at least twice. If it isn't an advantage, is it a DISadvantage to public schools that they cannot have the same requirements?

Why is CC playing a winnless 2A team this week? If you really want respect, play 5A teams, not bad 2A teams.

Franklin vs. Brentwood(not the Academy): BHS 21, FHS 14. Everyone forgets two things: 1) Franklin's closest game was to Lincoln Co., who is 3-4. They only managed one TD in that one. 2) Brentwood is still the defending R6 champs. Until someone beats them, they're it.

I think the biggest thing that separates most teams is depth. W/ that in mind: What cuases the most headaches for a defensive coordinator? Skill players that can run? Big, overpowering o-lines, QBs that can run/ pass, what? Which one is the hardest to stop at this level?

If you click on his screen name you will see that he is from H'ville. Probably upset about losing last Friday. No big deal.

Obviously CC is a good team this year. But when they make the playoff, whether its a #1, 2, 3, or 4, they'll have to play a region 4 team. Can they beat anybody in that region? Smryna, Riverdale, Oakland, and Blackman will probably be the reps. Can CC beat any of those teams? Just wondering. Good luck all.

I was told that private schools can 'make' their students take a extra-curricular sport or phys-ed every term/ semester, and that is why a team like BA can feild 75 kids when they don't have a lot of kids in the school. If this is true, couldn't that be an interpreted as an advantage? Public schools can't make kids participate in sports, but privates can. Is that it? There is all kinds of talent walking around in some of these schools, even some of the small ones. But we can't make them participate. I may have been misinformed, and every school may not do this, but I see that as an advantage. Even if a privat e school isn't loaded w/ talent, if you can throw more people at you, you have a better chance. Any thoughts?

I think it is classless to even start a thread like that. Your asking a very negative question. Your asking people to put down other teams. And you want to know who is classless? Look in the mirror.

I think some people are forgetting that Brentwood Head coach was the defensive coordinator for the best defensive team in the state the last nine years... Riverdale. If anyone can figure out a way to stop Franklin, its him. I think these Franklin people are looking at those two 50 point games and thinking they can do it to everyone. We'll see.

Are the Murfreesboro teams ashamed that Lincoln Co's only other win came at the hands of lowly old Warren Co.?

I see the Green Wave is ranked at #3 in a couple of polls. Are they that good, or are they ranked because there are too many good teams that have a loss right now? I heard they lost that Staten RB they had. Who is their guy? Does Lebanon have what it takes to beat a #3 two weeks in a row?
