Exactly... My goodness, today she's 2.61999, tomorrow she's 2.59999. Was there a headwind or a tailwind? Whatever. To me, what's more important is 'was she safe on the bag'...oh, and, of course, did she land safely after going so fast? As my 12 year-old says, 'speed don't matter if you hit it far enough.' My brother, you know one of those girls times is pretty accurate and she has been known to hit it pretty far at times.

Someone posted under the High School thread wondering who the top 5 18 gold teams would be. So lets have it.

Maybe I should rephrase, I am proud our daughter plays for Micheal Connell (Worth Gold), dont know any of the other Worth teams or coaches. Cant speak for them. And Div 1 would be UT Knox, UT Martin, UT Chatt, Lipscomb, MTSU, Tenn Tech, Louisville, All pretty good programs in my opinion.

They probably feel blessed to be playing the game they love at such a prestigious university against the best competition in the country.

In most cases the coach chooses who makes All District off of their team. A vote is taken for the big district awards.

Soph Rachel Albritton from Riverdale will surprise some people this spring. Hard working kid with a great attitude.

Not bad if 6 2011 have committed and 4 are Worth girls, all going to Div 1 schools.
