Halls played very well last night. I could tell in warmups that they were very prepared. Don't forget, Bearden has beaten Science Hill twice . They also beat a team in the Chattanooga tournament that is ranked in the top 10 in the state. That was by a run rule.You are right, records mean nothing. It is a tournament sport. At least both teams will represent our district in the regionals. That's how it should be. Hopefully, both will make it to Murfreesboro.

One of the best games I have seen in High School. Either team could win a state championship. Cooper did a great job in the seventh. Taylor Gouffon's performance should not be over shadowed. Bearden will have to rebound quick tonight. The 2 homeruns were bombs. Stallings and Turtle

I am sure that Farragut cared about the game. Probably wasn't hyped up to play Pigeon Forge with Science Hill coming up next. Don't forget, some of these schools are playing 6 or 7 games a week. Have you ever thought the kids could be really tired at this point! They will have a few days to rest before districts

You are right. A team can be winless and catch fire in the tournament and win. That is what is so great about the game of baseball

This is avery shocking score. Sometimes a loss can help a team refocus. Having a undefeated record can also put a lot of pressure on a team. I am sure Farragut will be a better team ( if possible) after this loss.)

Hopefully both teams will be in the state. Very rare are there 2 teams that strong. As of now, Farragut is the better team. Weird things can happen in baseball
