How did that Boyd prediction work out for ya? TC may not want your support seeing as you pulled for Boyd and what was the outcome?

He (slim) can talk all the trash he wants...I have thick skin. I was just warning him about what coacht said. As I said earlier, tough game at the creek but same outcome as tonight. MC (mary ann) wins on the road again.

I can see why, I saw more flags in five mins than I did on Veterans Day......I was just amazed that every play there was a flag on the ground. I was told 20 or 21 penalties against SP......wow

Should be a great game with the same outcome MC (that's mary ann for you TC folks) had tonight. Practice hard this week boys, TC plays tough at the Creekbank but I believe you can pull off a hard fought win. Keep your head on straight and one game at a time........

Good game Marion County, second half you pounded and pounded till you took the win! To the Boyd team, great group of young men that next will probably be a force in 2a. Great to meet a few of you tonight and great game. Now, on to TC. One game at a time boys, just take it one game at a time.

Not concerned about a " chilly " reception. People can't handle the truth that's their problem. Like lady squaw said, hard to deny the evidence that they have on him. It's printed in the paper that he was caught on video in a MC hat purchasing orange and black spray paint! It's a embarrassment for the whole MC team that he let kids from another school get blamed for what he ( and I'm sure others) did.

I'm not going to quote a score but this game could be close. All the unneeded attention surrounding our coaches, SP needing a public apology and one very aggravated MC team. Maybe your right skydogg25, Boyd probably does have a chip on there shoulder needing to prove they're better than there schedule shows! Ok never mind, just don't see Boyd stopping the ground game all night. Marion has become good on the front line blocking for #1 and a couple more backs. I see it staying close till half then Marion pulls away in the second. The central game was a blunder for Marion, plus a little birdie said Boyd had a injury in the running game but idk if that's true or not.

Geno, I have already stated that the kids are not to blame for this. One bad coach (or coaches) caused this to happen. After it happened we all saw who the finger was pointed at so I don't blame most from SP being upset and wanting apologies. All I have asked was for them not to put the blame on the team as a whole. They couldn't control the acts of one ( or a few) grown men.

Im assuming your talking about the 08 season playoff game. Ive always had a problem with " the better team didn't win". If I remember correctly, 10 game win streak coming into that game, beating a hard Smith County the previous week on the road and then to Boyd causing 6 turnovers and leaving with a one point victory. Im sure your refering to the stats when the game was over but the only thing that mattered was the score! The difference in that game came on turnovers. Marion hit and hit and hit all night long. Not to mention their starting QB was throwing passes to our defenders for some reason. Beasly for Boyd made the deference for them in the second half. It was like they sprayed him down with pam up until #24 stripped the ball at the one yard line and MC recovers. Better team did win but team with better stats on paper lost! Im hoping for a more than one point game come tomorrow night. Ive had way to many of those one point games to last me a lifetime. Ole ticker cant handle many more of those. Marion wins Friday night and we put this coaching mess behind us for a couple days and let the boys play football........

I wouldn't count the MC boys out just yet....they could be determined to show what they're made of after all this has come out. Nothing more powerful than a team with something to prove...Not like this is the first time a coach has left this group of boys.......

Oh come on hawkman, as long as you let the boys play the game on the field there is no problem. The MC vs SP game has people from all over come watch. I know its been one sided for a while now but that comes and goes. Besides, how would you settle the "Bully of the Valley" without this game......

Man, I grew up in SP, went to school in SP and still to this day I have respect for my alma matter. Don't confuse me for some crazed out MC coach that spray painted a field house. No, I wouldn't be trolling around there page just to cause more drama than is already going on. You just rubbed me the wrong way when you stated Boyd should have Marion Vandals on a run though. Those boys had nothing to do with what one crazy coach or coaches did. Im just saying leave the boys out of it and talk about the coach all you want. My boy had no idea who did it and if he did he would have told me or his mother. Like I said, coach or coaches that knew about it should be fired. No need in spray painting your on field house causing many people to come clean up afterwards.

Honestly, no I don't. Shouldn't let some bad apples ruin one of TNs longest running rivalries....I agree things now a days have gotten a little out of hand but I remember in 94 Marions goal post where torn down...That's no harmless fun but you throw in grown ups that are sore over losing in games from the past or coaches " trying to motivate there team" it gets kind of messy...kids will be kids and hanging signs or things of that nature isn't really hurting anyone. I just hope in the future they use a little bit of common sense when it comes MC vs SP time....

Don't believe anyone from Marion County is trying to take up for him. In my comment earlier to OP I said "Im sure he didn't act alone and if any other of the coaches were involved fire the whole bunch" ....

When your wrong your wrong...admit it and move on. I don't think I said anything but I could be mistaken. I was in TX watching my nephew graduate basic for the Air Force. Like I said, it is a big black mark for Marion County... plus a grown man letting kids be named from a rival school and didn't step up to admit it afterwards is what gets me. Just hate that my boy had to around him during football practice.
