All I'll say about this game is Good Luck to both teams and hope everyone comes out injury free....Not a lot of talk out of me this week, headed to San Antonio TX to watch a graduation.... Leave it all out on the field fellas and shake hands afterwards.......hate to miss it!

Theirs not a lot of talk on here about the game this week. Im really hoping the boys get up for this game. I know a lot of times it takes a while for them to get going against a weaker team. Play to your potential boys and don't play to CCS. Come out and let them know who there're playing and how the game is going to go. Get a good lead and let those JV boys get some more practice on Friday nights so they know how it feels......lets go boys get the job done, one game at time. Last game for two weeks for me to watch so go out and show us something.....

I would like to see the SP game tonight but Im hoping we get a good lead and the boy gets a little playing time....but you know theirs always next year.....lol Good luck tonight, hope they play Pirate football and beat Polk....Im gonna try and listen on the radio while watching our MC boys play...

If South Pittsburg can keep it close I see them pulling out a win......Just cant let Polk come out first thing and smack ya in the mouth. Tell them boys to play rough Pirate football and protect their house!!!!

Really wasn't scouting, wife was in the cheerleading alumni that they honored at halftime. Wasn't expecting to see SP pull out any new schemes against LV...they knew too many of us Marion folk would be there with us being off this week. I enjoyed talking to some friends that I went to school with at SP......lost interest in the ballgame at halftime....lol

Don't sweat it reaction, CB has their chest pumped out right now because they played probably one of the their best games of the year....keep them boys straight and take it one game at a time......

Got a quick question for ya op, how would SP handle a fence jumper climbing back over that fence? Heard one might be headed back yalls way next year. He was very impressed with the team and the weight room.......

The score really surprises me too....thought Boyd was better than their schedule showed....sorry I didn't get to introduce myself but I did talk to your wife....still wore my purple with pride in pirate land....lol

Truth, my wife graduated in 94.Still debating if we should wear the purple and white or go with none school colors.....lol

Middle school games, you wanna talk about middle school games? Idk, haven't kept up with the little warriors since ours is a freshman now but looks like SP won and MC lost. Not much else to say about that subject. Im still debating if me and the boy should wear my purple shirt and his jersey to the game tomorrow night? Probably wouldn't be a good thing since his mom is being honored for the cheerleading alumni......lol

We can argue schedules till we are blue in the face. Fact is, I didn't have any decision in the making of MC schedules and I doubt you had any say so in SP. You know Hixson dropped MC off there schedule not the other way around. How did that work out for them? My point is you play the schedule you have and hope to make to the playoffs to continue playing. I have a lot of respect for Boyd after the 08 season and have quit a few friends that support them. I honestly think Boyd is better than their schedule indicates. They have played some pretty big schools. Do I think that will help them in the long run, that still remains to be determined. Boyd gets a victory this week and moves on to whoever is next. If both make it to the playoffs im sure we will meet up. Until then, one game at a time and good luck Boyd. Oh, and good luck to SP Friday night, not that either team will need it. Ill get to watch SP Friday night, first time this year so I hope to see a good game.

Ive seen Boyds schedule and believed the whole time they were better than there schedule showes. Im not upset over any score that SP put up on MC, my statement was just to inform you and your fellow crows picking at the MC schedule that we had no problem filling ours. Now, Boyd will beat CB and IF Boyd makes it to the playoffs and gets a chance at MC we will see who the better team is. Like I said earlier, one game at a time is all MC is doing right now, couple more game ahead before even the thought of playoff games......Nov 1!

Now hold there a sec ole buddy, dont remember Marion having trouble filling there sechedule! You Pirate fans can talk about our schedule all you want (quite frankly, its getting old) but back a couple years ago ole Vick should have thought about that before embarrassing teams the way he did.Maybe then you wouldnt of had such a hard time finding teams that cared to play ya. Now, I dont see Boyd having any trouble out of Cooper Basin. They should handle them pretty well all night long. As for the Bucs seeing Marion in the playoffs, we are still taking it one game at a time.

Guess me and the family will be attending this game this Friday night, seeing that this is MC off week......of course, the wife is one of those has been cheerleaders there supposed to honor before or at halftime.......Which side would be safe to sit on Mike? Not sure of to many Pirate fans willing to share a bench with a MC fan. Think it would be ok if she wore her has been shirt and I wore my MC shirt?

Now this is my opinion only and you know what people say about opinions, so here it goes. My first thought is if SP hadn't been going around with there chest pumped out about putting people in the (half hundred club or pirate rule) you probably wouldnt of had so hard a time finding teams to play ya this year. I understand its hard not to score on a weaker team but regardless there is a time to lay off the gas and just cruise. Just because you don't hang a 50 point game on someone doesn't mean your not a tough physical team. No team likes to be beat down to the point of embarrassment. Take a good lead and let the future pirates get some Friday night experience. Marions jv has had the chance three times this year to play on Friday nights. Some nights they even scored on the other team. So talk about our schedule all you want but I want to hear what you have to say when playoffs come around and we are still winning ballgames!
