I haven't seen all 2A teams play but I will predict Goodpasture to win AA State.

I think Alcoa might be taking the place of the team that dropped out, not sure.

Danille(sp) pitched a great game also. Both teams played good enough to win Gibbs just played better. Alcoa still hasn't learned how to win yet in softball but they are getting better.

Alcoa has been on spring break for 2 weeks. They played 3 games on the first week of spring break. They have played Knox Webb, Farragut and Lenoir City. They play Bearden(DH) Monday.

Has Tiffani Baker from East Ridge signed with anyone yet. It may have already been posted on here and I didn't see it. I know their is a college coach that used to play at ER that would really like to have her.

Just heard on the radio(FM 99.1) Coach Reid is leaving Alcoa and has accepted a job in Georgia. (High School) If true who will take his place? It seems that coaches are comng to Alcoa for a couple of years and then leaving. Why?

Poke face Why don't you anwser my question, quote on here what I said about Maryville!! As far as Maryville in my top 10, I did't have them in my top 10. Also I didn't have Alcoa, South Doyle, Bearden, Carter, CAK, etc. see they asked for your preseason top 10 they did't say list ever HS in the Knox area. That is JMO on the top 10 or should have I got your thoughts on my top 10. Guess I should have listed my daughter HS first but guess what I didn't think they are in the top 10 in the Knoxville area. As for the Maryville-Powell scrimage...That what it is a scrimage..Alcoa beat Farragut 8-7 the other night...Alcoa lost to Karns 9-4 last night...So you poker face tell, where should I put Alcoa at in the top 10.... Looked for Coach23 top 10 could not find it....Would like to see his top 10. But most of all I would like to see your top 10 poker face..

Well Poker Face you need to learn to read. I don't think I ever said anything about Maryville. I would never say anybody has nothing. But once again their is always someone trying to cause trouble behind their user name. Poker face why don't you quote on here what I said about Maryville!

That is what our HS coach said, I also think they have to have a chin strap also. My daughter has always wore a face mask but I know alot of girls that don't like them, I don't think it should be a rule. Baseball dosen't have to have a face mask

I think she is playing with the old Austin Eagles in Chatt. Which I believe are just going to be the TN Eagles this summer.

I think it might be Ashley Whitehead. She may just be a Sophmore.

Who all plays in the IMAC. I know Jefferson County, Morristown East, Morristown West. Jefferson County should be the favorite again this year. I know 2 girls out of the IMAC has commited to East Tennessee State for next year. Katie Jett from Jeff. Co. and Trish Minzino(sp) from Morristown East.

Don't know about Karns, but a reliable source tells me Doug Iglehart got the job at Carter High School.

CAK, I want say that they will be a team to beat in all of AA but they will be one of the top teams in their district and region.

Don't know why you would say Alcoa will be all over Gibbs and Seymour. Alcoa (I don't think) has ever beat Gibbs. Alcoa struggled to beat Seymour last year to move on in the district tournament. The scores I believe of the 4 game Alcoa played Seymour 3 games was 1-0 Alcoa. and Seymour won 11-0. I wish people would't give Carol and Dana something to hang on the Bulletin board by making statements like that. Farragut is one of the best softball programs in the State. Just look at the State apperance's they have made. I think Farragut wins in every sport they play. Baseball team has maybe the best program in the State. Girls BB is at the top year in and year out. etc. Coach23 knows softball and alot of players across the State. He coaches (ASA) "A" ball during the summer. Has coached in Chattanogga. Put a team together that went on to win the NSA Super Nationals in Kansas City. etc.

Alcoa had three Seniors last year. Alcoa also had three Juniors from last year that did't come out for Softball this year.

This is what wrong with kids today aw lets give them another chance...How many chances do you give them. If he got ejected for the second time, They( Alcoa & BW) knew what the outcome would be. Wonder what coach Cochran, coach Fugate, coach Dalton. or coach Phelps would do with Kids like this...
