I was at the scrimmage. Upperman was the 3rd best team there out of 4 teams. Lets face it, Upperman will not beat York, Westmoreland or Smith County. They will finish 4th in the region. Get a reality check!

I saw the scrimmage 1. Boyd- Will go deep in the playoffs 2. Livingston- Average Team, will struggle in region 3. Upperman- 4th team in the region 4. Gordonsville- Will struggle to make the playoffs.

I was told that the Jr. High had 50 players dressed out. I believe an equal number of 7th and 8 th graders. This is one of the more talented JR. Teams we have had in a while. I will be interested to see if it translates to the field. Gordonsville should have a bright future from the soph. class on down if the core talented players stick to the program. I believe Moose is doing a great job and the boys left on the team want to play football.

When was the last time Clay, Watertown, Monterey, RBS, Mt. Christian made it to the second round of the playoffs? What makes you think that will change this year. Now that leaves Gordonsville, TC., FCS. Gordonsville is down from years past. TC is going through a coaching change. FCS should be above average. I agree the region will be more even past the first two teams, but not stronger.

Region 4A will be weak this year. FCS First, TC Second, the rest is a weak toss up.

Hey Jeff and Hailey, Goes so fast, only seems yesterday we were in Sioux Falls and Seattle. They were quite a pair with the glitter and all. You guys accepted us into the Diamond family with no reservations and we had a ball. We hopefully only have 7 more innings to go, and then it will be Devon's last game. We wish Hailey all the luck in the world. When you are on top so long, people cannot help but bash you when you are down. Soddy made it there, and will be there next year. Beech has an opportunity to bring the AAA back to middle TN, I believe the last middle TN to do it was hmmmm let me see? I believe it was Beech. Always been impressed with Toby, a true gamer. A couple years ago we put them in the losers bracket, but tobey and the rest of them fought back with desire. We were lucky we had to face a "tired Tobey" at the end. Good Luck to you guys.
