I think this is who plays in district tournament: 1- Gibbs plays the winner of 4- Carter vs 5-Fulton. 2-Alcoa plays the winner of 3-Seymour vs 6 Austin East.

Sarah Vaughn is the best all around player in the State. Lenior City also has another player that is very good Andy Jackson(2B). Lenior City should move on past the district tournament. You didn't read alot about them last year and the won the State in AA.

District tournament is what counts. The game with Gibbs is at Alcoa @ 5:30 PM. No predication from me. I will predict the score tomorrow about 8:00 PM.(after the game). Just hope Alcoa plays good.

Softballmom11 Who is going to pitch tonight @ Seymour? Sounds like Danniel is having a good year so far..Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't she pitch against Ooltewah and take them to extra ings.(10 I think) Pretty strong for a Fr to pitch like that against a strong AAA team.

Just talked to a Gibbs parent and the tournament has been cancelled.

As of today Brittney is not out for the year. She played this past weekend with a bad blister on on her finger... and 101-102 temp. She went to the doctor today and possibly has Mono. Will know more in a couple of days.

I could be wrong but I think C. Harris is originaly from Knoxville area.

VTEC, Looked to see if their was any local teams playing didn't show anyone in The Daily Times or on Coacht. Looks like Rachel pitched a great ballgame and went YARD, looks like some of the younger girls also stepped it up for WB,good thing after (during) Jeff Co. game the MEETING on the field...shuks she scared me.

Lenoir Citys, SS Sarah Vaughn can KNOCK the cover off the ball.. Without a doubt she is the best softball player in the State and maybe South.
