What changes in staff have occurred at Red Bank??? Who left? Who is still on staff?? Have they hired any new coaches?? I just dont see Red Bank being very stong in the fall...replacing a ton of players is going to be crucial. I only see them as a 5-5 type team.

I would say Jared Hensley of Soddy Daisy in Chattanooga TN. It is only his second season as Head Coach of the Trojans and they are 30-5 and play in the Region Championship tonight. They set a school record for wins in a season at 28 last week and are very well coached. Coach Hensley has done great things there in a short period after taking over for current East Hamilton Head Coach Steve Garland. Soddy Daisy and Jared Hensley have a bright future ahead of them.

Red Bank's Bailey Lyness verbally committed to play for Tennessee Welseyan and Coach Jeff Rice last weekend.

From what I have been told by someone close to the Lyness family is that Bailey has offers on the table from Bryan College and Tennessee Wesleyan. She is also visiting Maryville College this week. But they also told me that it is only a matter of time before Bailey will more than likely sign with Tennessee Wesleyan.

Earlier this week while the Red Bank High School Lady Lions participated in the Dalton Carpet Classic Christmas Tournament, Senior Shooting Guard Bailey Lyness surpassed the 1,000 Career Point mark with a 19 point performance in the win over Heritage High School. Bailey hit 5 three pointers on the day as the team excelled in the victory. Bailey has had a great four year run with the Lady Lions and they are off to their best start in years. Congrats to Bailey and best of luck to her and the Lady Lions this season. Good Luck to Bailey as she will continue her basketball career at the next level in the near future.

Kevin Orr is a great man and a great football coach who is going to do great things as the Head Coach at Soddy Daisy. He knows football and there is no doubt about that. He and his staff will do a great job this year and for many years to come. Orr is a family man who cares for his players the same way as he cares for his family. Soddy Daisy has alot of players coming back and Kevin Orr was the right pick to lead the Trojans. Best of Luck to Kevin Orr and the SDHS Trojans.

Is it just me or are the refs in the Chattanooga area very poor this year. These have been some of the worst officiated games that I have seen in a long time. I have seen several games over the past few weeks and the officials have let the games become out of control. Does anybody out there agree or disagree?? I would love to hear others thoughts.

You say that Loudon always has a good team....Well the Loudon team that showed up against Red Bank was HORRIBLE. The worse team that I have seen in a while. You cant make a true judgement of how good Red Bank is when they dont scrimmage a team that is worth anything. don sit there and say that Loudon was good because they werent. How about you all just keep getting your players from Tyner. Yea everybody knows that there are about 8-10 guys on Red Banks squad that played at Tyner last year. Quick question....Did Keith Mayes or Keon Williams play for Red Bank last year....NO. Red Bank always has to go out and get players. Show no respect and get none...Thats a good one. SD killed Central this past Friday when you guys couldnt finish your scrimmage because of a fight. RB quarterback is not that good...He is no Jake Ledbetter who has been the best RB quarterback in recent years.

Both of you need to open up your eyes. Yea Red Bank killed Loudon...But Loudon was a ###### poor football team. It may have been the worse scrimmage that I have ever seen if you could even call it a scrimmage. Red Bank DOES not have anybody who runs a 4.3 40 yard dash. Give me a Break. Yea Soddy didnt do to hot against Boyd but Boyd may very well win their region this year. All RB is a bunch of thugs...Yall couldnt even finish a scrimmage because a fight broke out. That real classy. And don't say that the owls started it. Times at Soddy are changing and you Red Bank Fans may be in for a rude awakeing on the 28th.

Whats the word on Soddy Daisy??? How are they looking?? Any info on the new head coach?? Can they beat Red Bank on Week 1??
