Greene is no where near the talent Polk was(this time last year).With that being said,he might before the year is up,but Greene doesn't have the vision Polk had,yet. Austin-east better get ready for a woodshed beat down.Ooltewah will beat the roadrunners by 35 or 40...my opinion. owls 45-0 owls D is awesome!!!!!!

Reed wasn't that bad(he didn't have much pass-blocking)..I think Reed was 2/6 2tds,2drops,1,batted down and 1 he threw at the cheerleaders.,.he was sacked 3 times.Greene did o.k.,Randell Freeman #43 ran like a man tonite.John Long(k) was...well,he was typical john long.Owls need to work on long-snapping.Defense was "AWESOME",Jordan Patty had a million tackles,Smith and Putnam were swarming all over the place,Manning had an INT early.Offense needs alot of work,defense is in playoff form right now. GO OWLS!!!

Greatest QB ever?maybe...he looks awesome,Reed as all the tools to be great,this will be his year and owls should be on his back all the way to state......go owls.

Ooltewah wins big behind the best QB in chattanooga(maybe the state)Brady Reed.cannon arm,3 yr.starter,big,strong fast,leadership....awesome corps of recvrs.and RBs and with the best defense in the area with Smith and Patty leading the way........Ooltewah 35-14

Owls looked really good and franklin county looked really out of whack....Brady threw short safe passes at first until the end and forced one and got picked..,..but he looked better than expected.Eric Greene looked good,Flanders and Delaney(wrs) looked really good.Defense did well,Manning's int for a TD,Patty(lb)looked good.,.Long's booming FG was impressive.OFFENSIVE-line blocked great(much improved).Owls will have thier hands full friday @ Tyner,but they ,were by far the best team down there,tonite hands down(my opinion).

Ooltewah will beat-up Franklin co...but will have their hands full(and could lose)@Tyner. Jamboree doesnt show much..except size and athletes.,.next week football starts for real...thank god!!!

Watching as an owl-observer..this wasn't a lopsided affair.Ooltewah did move the ball better than expected,but,by no means ran it down the ADs throat...and the 3 ints by ooltewah were bad throws,but,I do believe in a real game anyone throwing alot against the owls will be intercepted alot.(owls secondary is very good).From what,I've seen and heard,this year will be wide open in chattanooga area and all of east tn.Should be a exciting year,until somebody runs into oakland,riverdale,smyrna(i.e middle tn)

Ooltewah is behind the 8-ball with linemen..,..with that being said,all ooltewah lost to east hamilton was depth!!!! "NO TALENTED LINEMEN",all the kids that left are good kids,but are not very good linemen right now.And ooltewah having no linemen as nothing to do with Monroe or any other coach,they aren't there.Ooltewah has alot of RBs,wrs,dbs etc...just NO- linemen. The back-up qb shouldnt be snapping,they need to change one of the def.ends,move a LB.and coach the OL into some hard nosed hogs in the mud,if they are strong and smart,SIZE doesnt matter.(..if they do what they are supposed to do.)The coaches that are there ,now are very good,if they get a grip on this(o-line,d-line)problem,OWLS will be a contender for a state championship!!!!..,..but,IF they screw around and slip up,between now and Tyner..the whole year will cave-in on the owls..MY OPINION ONLY..!! it could snow-ball,but I don't think Monroe and his staff will let that happen.......

HOW DO YOU FIX IT?

If,I'm wrong...tell me what positive thing did you found in the scrimmage? Mccallie ran right at the owls..got POSITIVE yardage on every play(except 3 pass plays),5 yds,10 yds,6 yds..etc,the owls got one 2 yd play because one of the rcvers..fell forward.if the owls have no OL or DL..give it up.if you can't run the ball and ooltewah as to rely on the passing game..it's over.I not bashing anyone,just saying what,I think.Everything starts with the OL/DL..PERIOD!!!! PASS-BLOCKING is harder than run-blocking,BRADY REED will have no chance to throw it to anybody....and,if owls do not find a long snapper,they will not beat anyone.They have a 4 yr.starter punting and kicking fg,but,if there is no ball to kick,it will be a long season. BENNY MONROE and his coaching staff are second to none,BUT,if they don't fix these problems in a hurry,owls will be average at best. ...I'm sorry,if I sound very upset or negetive,but I want to win and the product,I see isn't a championship contender right now.if BENNY and co. can pull off a championship run..anybody that says,he's not one of the best coaches ever,(ANYWHERE)..IS BRAIN-DEAD. Hope 4 the best.......

Yes,we all know about no passing game...please don't remind us!! The big plays were mostly on punt returns,which gave oakland a small field to work with(which is what the owls did most of the year) OAKLAND was a better team last year.....but that was last year. anything can happen from now til december. GOOD-LUCK to everybody!!! especially the OWLS!!!!

In no certian order,IN THE CHATTANOOGA AREA: OOLTEWAH(biggest/baddest) at any level around here.,.this year,DEFENSE will be lights-out,OFFENSE might be high-powered?... TYNER(team of linebackers at every position,with speed)...RED-BANK(will be decent)...HIXSON(might catch somebody not looking one night)...EAST RIDGE(will make some noise--playoff bound)...POLK COUNTY(will compete,but will miss playoffs)...SODDY-DAISY(might sneak up on somebody,but probably won't win more than 5 games)...McCALLIE(will be good,playoff bound)...CENTRAL(chattanooga)might be a surprise..nah,they'll be cellar bound again....McCINN COUNTY and BRADLEY COUNTY(DON'T THINK THEY WILL DO MUCH)...CLEVELAND and RHEA COUNTY (lost alot,so they might be around .500)...North-Georgia: WHO CARES(hate em all). ANYWAY..SHOULD BE AN INTERESTING YEAR AROUND HERE WITH ALL THE NEW LOCAL MATCH-UPS,very confusing,but at the end of the season,I TRULY BELEIVE THE RIGHT TEAMS WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS AT MAKE IT THRU AT LEAST THE FIRST ROUND. THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION,and I DO KNOW,IT'S A LONG WAY OFF and ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN,but,I think this list is pretty close.
