Most of the players do not care for him, but they love the game of football and they don't get to chose who they play for. Secondly some of them have the potential to play college ball, and if the don't play in high school, then they won't get seen by colleges. The boys and parents are trapped because the Athletic Director hired him, and apparently is happy with him for some reason. Buy I think 5 years is long enough. He NEEDS TO GO.

Well he's been around 5 years and thats about 5 years too long. On behalf of the players over the years most of them have played their hearts out, and stayed on the team, but there are some good atheletes at that school that refuse to play for Coach Hutchins. The South Doyle program will continue to be a source of embarassment for South Knoxville as long as this Coach remains, as well as the Athletic Director. Its just so sad that the South Doyle Administration continues to let it go down hill. Well number 52 I'm glad to see you have a some heart. I haven't said anything against the players, the "program" you refer to is your Coaching Staff, and Atheltic Director. You and many of the other players on the team are giving your all for SD, but is SD giving their all for you. I don't think so. Think about it, how long have you been a member of the team? Look at your overall record with this "Program" I really don't think the "program" is working has hard for you as your are for them. Well like I said before the Maryville Game was a real barn burner. I guess Coach Hutchins was not ready to reveal the "Secret Formula" But thats okay us Cherokee fans like to lose game after game year after year. As usually Coach Hutchins made the crowd so happy with his brilliant play calling, what a master mind he is. Even the band members have the plays memorized. Thats what happens when you run the same plays over and over. But as a fan I enjoy knowing the plays ahead of time, it makes me feel like part of the team. But what makes me the proudest is how "Coach" Duncan stands down on the field game after game watching the South Doyle football program crumple before his very eyes. He looks almost looks proud of what he has done to South Doyle. You know you can say alot of bad things about the South Doyle program, but one good thing you can say is we are consistent. True my son has heard alot of cussing I just don't think he should have to hear it from his teacher, and his coach. After all he is supposed to be a role model.

Just wanted to say thanks Clark Duncan for hiring and keeping Coach Hutchins, best decision you have ever made. This decision has really reflected your care and concern, for your High School. A special thanks to Coach Hutchins for staying the past 5 years, what would we have done if you had left. What we would do without the foul language, the consistent losing, lack of respect for players, parents, and community, the relationship between you and the refs, it brings tears to my eyes every game. The great play calling, wow nothing like a 4th and inches you call the shot gun what a genius!! Gosh don't get me started about the 2 plays the team runs every game, you have coached them well. You also have one of the best conditioning programs I have ever seen. Some of you linemen can almost play a whole game without sitting down on the field. I really could go on for days about what a wonderful Coach you are. I know you've got the Maryville game coming up that should be a real barn burner, after all you know the secret to beating them. Oh yeah don't worry about not making the playoffs again, who needs them anyway. My only hope is that someday your children will have a coach just like you! Well thanks again Clark Duncan for another wonderful homecoming at South Doyle. How much longer does Coach Hutchins get?? He's had five terrible years, and has shown no improvement. I have watched team after team play for this man and it's still the same old song and dance. Surely it can not continue to be blamed on the boys. He Coaches different boys nearly every year. The program at South Doyle is one of the worst around. I can not understand how Coach Hutchins still has a job. When is enough, enough.

Well if the defense would stop celebrating excessively, and maybe get in better shape we might have a chance. Hutchins needs to get control of his defense. Alota hype for a out of shape player. Offense needs to work on turn overs, and the QB needs to settle down some. The main problem I saw the defense not coming alive until the 4 quarter. They shouldn't be celebrating because the showed up in the 4th quarter. They should play hard the whole game. It's embarrasing all the swagger and head nodding they do, they are not the only players on the field. If their that bad out of shape, they should leave the celebrating until after the game and conserve their energy
